  1. I totally understand, I find a new favorite almost daily. But kaboom! has hung in there for some time now. Did you really roll the scoreboard? 19K was pretty freakin hard to get and your telling me you ot 99K and flipped it? come on. We will need to see a photo of that. Next time I'm taking a photo as proof too.
  2. Well, I for one would like to have a copy of this game. I don't see why it won't eventually be offered somewhere on the internet, people love money. And as far as the homebrew title on ebay, why would I pay outrageous prices there when I can pick up the majority of these games from Hozer way cheaper. Regardless I wish I had the time to go out there. Maybe I could hit the Midwest Classic.
  3. So what I'm seeing is the definite games to get so far are: Ballblazer Xevious Double Dragon There seems to be a group love for these three at least. I will check it out. So, as far as Galaga and Impossible Mission go I'm screwed, since no one mentioned Galaga and I won't even be able to beat Impossible Mission.

You are sooooo right, Arkansas is a dumping ground for nothing. I found a total of maybe 30 games in the past year and a half. I keep finding games that I have over and over but not in any sizable quantities or anything. Miss. Sucks just as hard. Oh yeah and go ahead and throw in Oklahoma, I counldn't find squat there either.
  5. Gave away? Good lord man, you could have at least sold it at a garage sale.
  6. It's a great challenge and it gets super fast just like centipede and spider fighter. My favorite games

  8. OK suckers, I did it. 19,841 points. I have yet to get that high but one time and thought about taking a picture. I was literally shaking after that. I used the drop a bomb method. Worked great. Next high score please. Woo! I'm worn out.
  9. Someone needs to explain that SMS pink thing. Is it like a TV BOY or is it a cartridge based system thing?

    Great auction!

Yes, this pin seems to be a homemade or something. It's pretty lame, I bet I could make a better pin than that. At least, I hope, it would be funny. This is just lame.
  11. Scarry little bugger, but I prefer my cart systems more. I thought the thing looked really neat though.

    Joystick Symbol

I was wondering why you always hear the pacman death noise when you see someone playing a video game on television or in the movies. When it is clear they are playing a genesis or intellivision for that matter (check out National Lampoons Vacation) That pacman death noise is always there and ingrained into my skull from playing it so much as a kid. (Shudder)

I too design labels, I don't have the fame as the above entry, but I am a dedicated Atari enthusiast and Graphic Designer with well over 10 years in the field. The quickest and easiest solution for your problem is to go toFonts this site and download SF Atarian. This is a free font that contains several variations on the Atari logo. By dropping this font in Illustrator you can use "create outlines" and have a perfect replica of the logo in a vector program. (Shift + 3, Shift + 8, & Shift + 2 should produce the desired symbols).

I found Alies Vs Predator and that Memory card boxed good condition. I sold my jaguar though, otherwise I would have kept these games. If I ever find anymore. I will be sure to post them on here to let everyone take their pick, the cheapest way, at thrift cost. I have no use for them. Although I do love Atari, but alas, I never had much fun with my Jaguar (bit me too much, hehe) seriously the only game I could find when I had it was that vidgrid, fell in love with the thing. I also had the cd player, which I felt was too slow for some games like Space Ace and such. Anyway I still love my Atari 2600.
  15. Hey, King Asmo is sending me my first ever 7800 console. I have Impossible Mission and Galaga. But what games should I look for? Besides 2600 games. I have a massive heap of those now. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what might be a good next purchase?
  16. Hey, I noticed there were no topics here so I decided to start one. I jsut recently sold an old Pong machine on ebay in perfect working order. It was more of a Sears Telegames machine with eight or so different games on it. I bought a new tv cord and cleaned out the guts of it. Worked great, nothing wrong with it. Even the built in speaker sounded great. Which scared me when I realized it was in the machine. I couldn't figure out why the noises were still happening with the tv turned down. I thought my tv was broken. Oh well
  17. I agree, I avoid yahoo auctions and amazon auctions like I try to avoid the plague. I have yet to ever recieve anyhting I ordered from either of those two auction houses. I also agree with the picture theory. Sometimes things stay cheaper without a picture and it is tempting to bid on them, but who knows what it really is, could even be a cardboard cutout in the likness thereof of your item, the seller could say he/she thought it was real. Scarry stuff.
  18. I just want to thank you for that Albert, I was about to kill someone from pure anger. Not to mention destroying my entire collection of Spielberg movies and burning him in effegy in my front yard. Seriously though, that toy manufacturer must not have rights to the Reeses deal. And I was seriously in the mode of thinking that they took it out of the movie. So thanks for keeping me sane and giving me hope that I might go see it again. (Wipes brow) Whew! 19. That's correct you heard it. Once I hooked up my Verticle hold NTSC television to my NTSC Atari. I was able to play all of my PAL carts perfectly. (once the v-hold was adjusted) and the weird part is I didn't have to readjust it to play the NTSC games again. Why was that?
  20. What, they scrapped the Reeses Pieces? I watched the preview at the theatre the other night and was wondering why I didn't see them. What the hell is the candy in the "NEW ET" supposed to be? It does play a major role in the film you know. Not only that, but I was at Toys R Us the other day and was looking at the ET action figures and noticed the ET figure came with a bag of . . . .you guessed it folks candy. Random as all get out. I feel sorry for Reeses Pieces this could have been a break for them to sell more candy. It is still around and all. I hat Spielburg for messing with this movie. I hope at least the Atari and the polaroid camera scenes stay in. God forbid kids be forced to realize other things besides and Xbox existed before.
  21. Hey, I tried to use that gametrader website and it appears they either have nothing or the site is broken. I saw a few odds ad ends for the Atari 2600 but not much else. I couldn't get anything else to come up either. No 7800, 3DO, et cetera.
