What kind of direspectful son of a! That has to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I might bid on it just to destroy it.

    Joystick Symbol

I looked at the Turner Website and I have to say that I don't personally believe it was any decision related to Turner in any way to use the joystick symbol. I have seen the promotions from the designer/deleoper of the site and if I am correct they use lots of old retro symbols to desing with. Not limited to the Atari joystick. If you checkout House Industries they use the shadow of the Atari and the joystick a lot. I don't know how much of this is related to it being an icon to symbolize something, which obviously it is, or just some designers thinking a retro object like the Atari and it's peripherals would be a cool picture. How long until people start utilizing the old NES peripherals and such to appeal to a younger generation? It's just something to think about.
  3. Hell, Moycon that freakstick got my vote!
  4. I hope she likes it. Don't forget to tell us all the conclusion to the story! I am getting pretty excited too. I'm waiting on my Atari 7800 to come in the mail. I can't stand it. I've been waiting for the mailman at the door everyday, no luck yet, but soon!
  5. That's insanity for you. The bidders might as well have someone mold a nintendo game out of solid gold and just stick a chip in it. It would probably be cheaper than risking everything on this auction. Good luck to the winner.
  6. Good, lord. Reading all of this makes me sick. I can't find squat around here and the few jerks who have something worth buying either jack up the price way high or keep it in the back and are "deciding when to put it out" makes me sick!
  7. Oh, boy I passed up, Indy 500, basketball and combat for the 2600 and a copy of pole position for the 5200. All two bucks a piece. Too high? I didn't really want them. But everytime I buy a labeless cart it turns out to be a broken copy of frogger. Whats up with that. I sold seven labeless froggers the other day to the game store for, you guessed it, fourteen in credit. Weird huh? The store used to sell the games for a quarter or fifty cents.
  8. I use to find a bunch of games, like oink and dolphin. Nothing too rare, but lately I have been on a downward slump. We only have so many thrift and flea markets to go to. And I try to go every weekend, but they are starting to get to know me. Thats scary. I feel like I'm bothering these people now. But I need games like an addition or something. I found an Intellivision once but the thrift store wanted $60 bucks for it. I told them I could buy a new N64 for $60 bucks but they wouldn't budge. Someone bought it the next day. I couldn't believe it!
  9. That Atari joystick idea would be amazing, I would definitly be on top of that. How hard could it be? You could jam a 256 in 1 cart o it as well and have a ton of games. This needs to be done!
  10. That's a bunch of crap. Maybe you should take a laptop computer with you next timeand demonstrate how stupid they are by showing them the price of a combat cart online. I hate those jerks and will be watching out for them and their kind. I have the same problem here. Everyone is going nuts over retro gaming and most people like that just think it's old so it should be worth more.
  11. How big is the watch anyway? I thought it was normal size. I don't want a cell phone ghetto blaster hanging off my arm. Tell me it ain't so?
  12. Sweet, I need those docs too. I had no idea that would work. Someone needs to get a postin' that. I have sevral crappy NES lightguns waiting to enter the better world of Atari.
  13. Holy, Crap. You certainly had me fooled. I couldn't figure out how any ebayer could possible have all those stars, then I remebered if an ebayer has that many sells, he gets a shooting star not a bunch of stars. Then I clicked on them. That is one crazy page. Looking good though and quite amazing at that. If I could bid on it I certainly would. Looks like fun.
  14. Someone should explain to me what happened with the Quadrun auction. Everyone keeps talking about how someone got what they paid for. Tell the story someone. I wasn't around for it.

    ...

I'm of the Ramen and Rice A Roni persuation myself. But throw some uncooked tuna into the cooked mac ad cheese and boom, instead good. Both are cheap.
  17. I was thinking the same thing. This game looked like it had great potential. I hope it's still being worked on. I would buy a copy.
  18. That's a pretty good story. Kid of reminds me of the "Christmas Story" by Jean Shepherd. You know the one they play five hundered times on the tele at Christmas. Good story and funny. I would definitly watch this as a short episode of your life on the tube. I'm thinking an episode of "Freaks and Geeks." Best show ever.
  19. Anyone else with more movies. Lets see. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Double Dragon Frankenstein Frankenstein's Monster GI Joe (Cartoon Movie) He-Man (hehe) King Arthur (Excalibur?) Pink Panther Popeye Robin Hood China Syndrome OK that's all from me for now, I'll be back

I will soon have a copy of the German version: "Sesam Oeffne Dich" Whoo Hoo. I have yet to play it. [ 03-09-2002: Message edited by: Monster greifen an ]
  21. I see and this makes 96 posts for me. Yes only four more and I'm at 100! (rubbing hands together witha twitch in my eye) Soon I wil own the world. HAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  22. Really, nothing at all? I never played Earth Dies Screaming. But it sure is a blatant name rip off. BTW (I have been wanting to use that for some time now) how exactly do these stars by our names work and how does one become an Atari Pro? Based on entries? What are those numbers?
