Yeah, I love this messageboard. The best in the world. Of course, Atari is the best system ever created by mankind. And if your interested in some Texas Instruments or Odyssey 2 games let me know. I've got a mound of them at the thrift store. Cheap, real cheap.

I can't hear anything either. I'm on a mac and the Quicktime window opens and shows a broken file. Keep trying!

Dude, you rock.

OK, I officially hate ebay. I was trying to bid on some games and lost miserably. People pay completely outrageous prices for the dumbest crap, what the hell is going on. I sometimes wonder if they are just bidding to win and don't really care if they get the item or not. They just want to push the price up. When I started collecting the most I payed for an Atari was $7 and that included a huge pile of games. Now every two bit freak is after Atari, my local game shop won't sell them for less than $50. Thing is no one buys them. And they have been there for a year, I offered to buy them cheap but they won't budge. As though someone is going to come in and just buy them all, then pow the store will be filthy rich. I was in there one day and someone sold them a pile of games. So I snagged Mario Bros. I was pretty excited to buy it. So the dude was ringing me up and this lady manager steps up and is like "sorry, we can't sell that Mario Bros. our corporate headquarters collects rare and expensive games." Oooooh, I was pissed. But what could I do. I was so close to owning it. I even told her outright that it wasn't that rare and they were all over ebay for cheap. Nope, she didn't budge. I hate that place too now. And the worse part is I went back a week later and saw the MArio Bros in a locked bin with $32 on it. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!. It's ridiculous.

I'm surprised no one has commented on my avatar. I drew it myself. Thank you very much.
As for board games on the 2600 I think maybe you hit the most common. I can't think of any right now.

I agree, I can't get quite a few games to work. Some games just crash my system. It sucks, I want to play these games too.

Holy crap! I think you should bust up some Dolphin. That game is amazing. Being forced to listen to the sound wave to determine your swimming height and depth. But then again I sure would love to see some 3-D Aventure. I love that game. Definitly not Doom-like though something more like, Resident Evil. But Adventure 3-D. OH YEAH

Good lord, do you people work....ever! I am actually at work right now on this sad sad saturday, with four inches of snow outside and no ride home. This totally sucks and take a look at my message count, pathetic. Good lord I'm the loser here. I'm going to go count names in the phone book for the next three hours and pass out drunk in the snow around six. The only silver lining to this cloud . . . I'm getting paid for it.
(bored, bored, bored)

Chat rooms suck, I agree that random people would and could easily abuse the system and it would be a mess for everyone. I HATE CHAT ROOMS, THEY SUCK!!!! And no I'm not coming to anyones house in Pawtucket later to visit. (HMM maybe if we all had mini cams on our computers) Nah!

Thanks! I almost bid on it. Whew! I just looked into a second ago and found a site listing intellivision games and saw it on their site. In case anyone looses this auction this seller has another Beauty and the Beast for sale.

Amazingly, I don't have that star raiders. I keep passing it up fo r some reason. Maybe subconciously I was waiting for the super find of games that would have a complete copy of it. Who knows. Although the only thing I have to trade is some Magnavox Odyssey games. And only a few at that. I have three boxed and KC open. Although, I think I'm going to go buy an odyssey tomorrow. You think $30 is to much to pay for one with a couple of games? It's in pretty nice shape.

Yeah, I hear mos websites list it at scarce plus. Very hard to find, since no one ever heard of it and they never made an arcade of it.

Wow! That's incredible. Thanks for the tip. I will be getting right on it. Do you happen to know where I can find replacement switches (the metal part that sticks out of the atari top cover?) I have an Atari with a broken one. Thanks again!

nothing spectacular that I can remember. If your looking for something I can check I only found like 10 total games. I can doube check sometime soon and fill you in.

Oh, I get it. Sorry.

Yeah I found a heavy sixer just the other day "in the wild" at a thrift store I had never been to. I was $7 bucks, had two crappy torn up controllers included (which I left) and no power supply. The store owner told me he didn't think it would work but when I got home, lo and behold, it did! The power switch is real worn and glides smoothly instead of click and I have to hold it in place for a second for it to work. (anyone know how to fix this?) But I couldn't just leave it there. They also had a Texas Instruments video/computer machine, like the old Atari 400's (just the keyboard deal) but I didn't get it. If anyone is interested I can pick it up and send it to you. I'm certain it works. I found some games for the TI as well at the Salvation Army and other places too. Real cheap.

Why, I happen to be Dale Crum. Which font are you looking for? Bauhaus, SF Atarian, Futura, Avant Garde?

No, I meant Kleine. Like Tiny Mouse Lives Here. Like I said, These are only for demonstration. I had orinally used those two Activision (and Activision-esque) labels for other reasons, but here only for demonstration. By the way I love German and the German Atari variations. I was in Germany not that long ago, in Bonn and Königswinter. I really liked it there. Here sucks.

"kleine maus wohnt hier" ???you got me puzzled ..... what game is that supposed to be?jah fish
I made these labels for fun and was just using them for the demonstration. (In case anyone wonders, these are not real games)

I saw some on eBay only they were really expensive. One patch at a time sort of deal. I really really want one of those River Raid patches. I used to have one when I was little. I forced my dad to play River Raid with me until I beat it then sent off for the patch. Now I beat that score daily. I love those patches. I lost mine though.
