I usually stick to collecting game consoles, but couldn't resist picking up an Atari 800 with 48k RAM (bare cards) at a garage sale. Two questions:

 

1) Any ideas on where I can pick up a 9VAC supply?

2) How can I get inside? I took the screws off of the bottom but the case doesn't seem to give. (I didn't want to force too hard.)

Ok… I talked with Albert and decided that we would split the cost (going to the show), so count me in.  I’ll be bringing video game comics (Sonic, Zelda, Blip, Double Dragon, Mortal Kombat, Tomb Raider, etc), shrink-wrapped 2600 games, loose N64, Sega, SNES, NES, and some rare games for the Colecovision, Atari XE, 2600, and C=64.  I also have common TI-99, COCO, XE, and 2600 carts but we are very limited on space (I might bring a few if anyone is interested).  So bring CASH.

 

I still have some major concerns about the show, but will keep them to myself.  (I hope Ed is pounding the pavement handing out flyers)

I am encouraged by the positive buzz that is redeveloping. Ultimately, this show should be fine. The vendors that are still on board just need to know that we'll be there.

I'll be there again this year with my 9 year old son. Regardless of the situation, I'll have a pocket full of cash and hope to add to my classic collection. (Anyone bringing a TurboGrafx 16?) I hope others are able to do the same and make the best of it.
