It's not the fur, specifically cats tend to pee or poo in random boxes if their litter box isn't kept tidy, dogs tend to just go anywhere but generally dogs are bigger and therefore leave bigger messes. cat pee is especially hard to get out of things!

I always thought it was strange that there isn't a website that tracks these homebrew / hacks / reproduction games. if there is, I'd love to know about it. i think i remember a thread about favorite homebrews but not a chartable one.
