even if you get a cart shell you will need to modify it as it doesn't fit in a standard shell.

Sony PlayStation2, want to collect, need some pointers
Necron99 replied to high voltage's topic in Modern Console Discussion
There are a lot of great games on the PS2 and even more under-rated gems. what I did years ago, was read a lot of top 10-100 lists based on genres and under-rated list and watched a bit of gameplay videos on youtube for each. I would start here http://www.racketboy.com/retro/sony/ps2 As for buying the games, the easiest way is to check eBay and the Buy and Sell forums here. PS2 games are still often found amoungst DVD's at thrift shops but that seems to be becoming rarer and rarer. Local B&S sites like Kijiji often have PS2 games for cheap as well. -
I use both (GOG and Steam)services. I prefer GOG because it is DRM free and I have all the game installers saved and backed up. however, Steam has options to add a non-steam game to your dashboard so I do that so all my games are in one place.

I don't understand this logic. If you back the project and it doesn't raise enough funds, you don't get charged anything. There's no need to be worried about backing a project you are interested in, no matter how close to the goal it is. There's only 5 days left now and it's 75% funded.

Maybe he meant he's glad he ordered the one from last year? Anyways, I got my Xmas Cart the other day, haven't had a chance to play it yet but the packaging is pretty cute! love it!

New NES homebrew: The legends of Owlia

I've bought from InfiniteNesLives.com a few times. ordering was easy, and everything shipped quickly. -
Ya, mine is not the "special edition"....but I believe the only difference is a yellow banner on the box and it sold for more money? I could be wrong though.

I think with these types of campaigns, it's better to let the market determine how many to make and build them after the campaign ends. maybe having a limited number of CIB ones or early bird ones that are slightly cheaper but cart+manual is only limited to the number of backers at the end of the campaign?

you can now Pre-Order Xenocider from http://retrosumus.com/

What is this Resident Evil arcade game?
Necron99 replied to ComputerSpaceFan's topic in Classic Console Discussion
This looks like the remake of Resident Evil for Gamecube...Jill also used a Bazooka at the end to kill the Tyrant in the game. -
Atari 2600 Homebrew game on Kickstarter -- Bigfoot Family Search
Necron99 replied to SoulBlazer's topic in Atari 2600
You just select a tier that is right for you and pledge. money isn't taken from you until the project is funded and completed. If funding is unsuccessful, then you aren't charged. when your item ships out is heavily depending on the campaign owner and if they already have parts and such. -
What was that strange cartridge I saw at the flea market?

Could also be a Canadian version of the Arcadia 2001 called Leisure Vsion? I believe both the Arcadia and Leisure Vision have a blue label on the back with jot notes about the game. but a yellow label....not sure
