Regardless of how these games are or aren't being emulated, I'm disappointed to see that Sony is inevitably selling these games back to consumers after stripping out their ability to load their original discs. I've never bought a PS1 classic and have no intentions of buying a PS2 classic.
I agree, I've bought lots of PS1 and PS2 Classics....just not on PSN, I buy the original discs.

Bought some Intellivision games from RASK1904, everything was just as described!

I bought it for my girlfriend a little over a month ago - I enjoy it but believe Demon's Souls to be more difficult.

Haven't played Catherine yet, but Demon's Souls is too damn crushing hard and right from the get go....

So far, the Move has not impressed me at all. When Sony announced the Move, they said several times that the Move would has a good library of games and not piles of shovel-ware like the Wii. There isn't piles, but so far all I see is shovel-ware crap or newer titles that are "Move Compatible"(really it's just put in last minute and doesn't work with the game)
I'm sure both Move and Kinect are better hardware than the Wii, but ultimately, I was tired of the Gimmick 2 months after the Wii was released.

I have a 40GB Phat unit, but I've replaced the HD with a 250GB because 40GB is pathetic.

I've been registered at PS3Trophies for awhile now, there's some sort of leader board setup there but I don't care much for that. They have a lot of guides on how to achieve trophies in each game, which I like because I prefer to play the game and collect trophies after if the game was enjoyable. I don't buy crappy games to get any easy trophies anymore.
also, I believe you would like a list like THIS?

It depends on the game for me. Some games have really annoying sound effects (Spacemaster X-7), So I turn the volume down/off. but a game like berzerk, I prefer the sound and seem to do better with it on.

I believe it's the same game as Maze Craze. I like the boxed version with the pirated Megamania art.
LOL
That's our German site, Stan.
Try this one:

Theamk is not a Zellers game, btw.

really? sure looks like a Zellers cart, I see it's PAL so I'm assuming the same people put together the Zellers carts?
I love the Zellers carts though. I love how none of the labels seem to have anything to do with the game.

By letter. Never understood the 'by company' method. It looks neat, but I like to know where my exact game is that I'm looking for. Commavid currently poses a problem for me in my gaming cabinet, but that's the only issue.
I used to have mine organized alphabetically, but I was never satisfied on how it looked on my shelf. I have a book shelf and only collect loose carts so it just looked cluttered and messy all the time. Somewhere on AA I saw someone with their collection sorted by company and I liked the look of it. It probably only take a second or two more to find a game this way. Plus it kinda a nice feeling when you finish a set by a specific company.
I guess it ultimately depends on how you collect. some people want the cheapest games, others go for everything. some like label variations, other don't. Some only want mint condition, and others don't care as long as it works.

Most big name Thrift Stores have gone downhill over the last few years, Value Village now checks Ebay prices
, Goodwill rarely has anything worthwhile and when they do, it has a comical price on it. Neither of those stores seem to sell anything pre-NES anymore either. At Salvation Army they seem to have staple prices for things, like $4 for a PS1 game, $5 for PS2/GC/Xbox...which is good for the harder to find stuff but selection is usually terrible.
I've also noticed many local thrift shops closing down.

I used to do alphabetically but now organize alpha by company and then alpha by game. It's easier that way in tracking holes for the collection.
same here. I find they also look nicer when ordered by company as the end labels are generally similar style/color/font

Bought a few uncommon 2600 carts from FibroFreak. Shipping was super quick! wouldn't hesitate to buy from again!

there's a thread HERE about the Serial numbers of Light Sixer units.
Looks like all 3 are in decent condition.

This last few months has been brutal for someone that only owns a Wii this generation.I saw it coming and had my wife getting me a PS3 last christmas. Still I'm angry enough to probably not buy anything Nintendo for the next three generations...
