  1. Currently I like using my Vader, but mostly because it's the one currently hooked up so thats mostly out of laziness on my part. I've had a 7800 pro system for awhile but it was missing the power supply, I've got the replacement in the mail and should be able to hook that up next week!

  2. Just wondering, Noticed today that my copy of Spitfire Attack actually says MILTON BRADLEY CANADA instead of MILTON BRADLEY COMPANY on the label?

I looked around but really couldn't find any information. I would assume it's a Canadian variant but it doesn't seem to be in the Database/Rarity Guide? is there a reason for it not being there or was it just overlooked or am I blind?

  3. Update: I finally got one! It's in really nice shape too. :) Having a ball playing Sonic Adventure again.

Can anyone recommend some games? The less obvious, the better.

    I now own:

    Sonic Adventure 1 & 2,

    Jet Set Radio,

    Trickstyle,

    NBA 2K,

    Snow Surfers,

    Crazy Taxi 2.

I really want to start building up a collection now.

Chu Chu Rocket (one of my favorite puzzle games)

    Resident Evil: Code Veronica

Stupid Invaders (point and click adventure)

    Sword of the Berserk (action)

    Speed Devils (racing)

    Super Magnetic Neo

    Mars Matrix

    Project Justice

  4. I got my Dreamcast from Ebay for $20+Shipping, I can't remember how much shipping was but It was a complete boxed system with the Super Game Converter, Soul Calibur(Jap), Tetris 4D(Jap),and Biohazard: Code Veronica(Jap).

That was about 2004....I now own over 200 games for it. Some of the fighting/shmup games have a hefty price tag on them still, but many of them you can't get that experience anywhere else. the dreamcast has some great gems that you can get real cheap too.

  5. Is it normal that every thread I select loads a black rectangle at the top of the screen that only lasts a second? This doesn't happen anywhere else except these forums.

I'm not all that good with video and stuff but I attached a video to help if you don't know what I mean. (if it works)

BTW, Using windows 7 and Firefox

    EDIT

Nevermind, apparently it was time to upgrade Firefox :)

  6. Normal airmail to the US can take 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks. I had a package take a month once and it wasn't even around Christmas. The buyer was justifiably upset but when it did arrive he saw the the postmark indicated it was shipped when I said it had.

Bottom line - strike or no strike - Canada Post absolutely sucks! That's a fact. I was reading another forum about the strike and someone posted this and if you check the dates, some are BEFORE the strike started. Does this look like an organization that has any god damn clue what they're doing:

Date Time Location Description Retail Location Signatory Name

2011/06/05 11:00 MONTREAL Item processed at postal facility

2011/06/03 01:40 SCARBOROUGH Item processed at postal facility

2011/05/31 08:41 MONTREAL Item processed at local delivery facility

2011/05/30 15:15 MISSISSAUGA Item processed at postal facility

2011/05/28 10:27 SCARBOROUGH Item accepted at the Post Office

unfortunately this is so true, Canada Post sucks!

... and LMAO at that tracking!

  7. Postal strike hasn't affected me at all...I ship a good amount of stuff and receive it as well from Canada on a regular basis (8 outbounds and 14 inbounds this week alone), and none of my packages saw more than a day or two delay. This might get worse as things progress, but I think the whole transaction being discussed here started long before the strike.

Not for anything, but I did business with pseudonym and did receive my package. I had my concerns tho, as I paid on April 3rd and it didn't arrive till April 20th. He claimed to mail it on the 5th. Even with snail mail, it never took me 15 days to get a small parcel from Canada. Just sayin...my guess is that he hadn't shipped it on the 5th and instead of owning up, he just shipped it when he had time. I didn't look at the post mark on the box, cause I was just relieved that it arrived. I even left + feedback here in the user forum. The biggest concern was that he gave me a few dodgy answers when I asked for my tracking #. Then, he admitted that he had not gotten a tracking number. I was actually very surprised when it arrived, as I had almost written it off as a burn.

My guess is that he is likely a very slow shipper...that's all. I always try to ship the same day I receive payment (depending on the time of day). Not everyone works this way. I will be sure to note things like this in the feedback I leave regarding future transactions here.

Hopefully it doesn't affect you! I know the strike started in Manitoba so anything going east to west or west to east before hitting the US border would have a higher chance of being tied up.

waiting 15 days for a package in Canada from the US is pretty normal actually, I've never sent anything to the US but I would assume it would be equally as time consuming? no?

anyways, can't vouch for the guys excuses but I find it hard to believe he would do something like this intentionally, just wanted to let people know he does have good feedback elsewhere.

  8. I think this has been blown way out of proportion!

I've had quite a few deals with pseudonym in the past and all have went extremely well, I know many of you have been waiting and things don't look so hot about you getting the games you purchased but at least cool your jets before attacking someone! FYI there IS a rotating postal strike going on in Canada right now and it IS entirely possible that this situation isn't even his fault. The guy has excellent feedback on DigitalPress http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56930&highlight=pseudonym

BTW:Good Luck to anyone who bought stuff from ANYONE from Canada recently and vice versa, I know this strike has put a freeze on me buying anything for a little while
