Hi T2K - another name from the past
Cool to see you are still into Jag.Yeah, I am. Just trying to get out of the politics and all that garbage. Not just a problem in the Atari scene these days, seems to be everywhere and I grow weary of it.
The Jaguar is still one of my all time favorite systems, although there is still a bad taste in my mouth from all of this petty BS, but it is slowly fading and I find the system more desirable every day. Doesn't help there's been tons of drama in my life of late too. Then again, what else is new, eh? I guess it's just a part of getting older and having people in your life, not being a hermit and all. People bring baggage. Nice to see you still around too, man!

Nice looking little system. Since I sadly don't currently have a colecovision, I'm all over it on release. I've got a couple other @t Games products, so hopefully it's built well. Still no list on the games though, eh?

I'm pretty sure thats a liard quote on that 3DO forum
No, I will take responsibility for my own comments. That was not said by Laird, it was said by me, and it was an unfair comment to make actually, especially in that particular thread as it was talking about a new game coming. Personal feelings aside, I should not have went there in that thread as my personal feelings towards certain members of a team or group should not have a baring on what they produce for the community. It was the wrong place and the wrong time, especially since some of us, myself included, are trying to get away from all of the political bickering and nonsense that happens "Behind The Scenes" as it were. I have taken it upon myself to edit the comment as it was hateful and unnecessary to have said it in the first place as I was angry and lashing out at people I probably should not have been. I was not asked to do so, but did it on my own and am not trying to bury it either as I am here stating that I said it. I apologize for hurting, insulting, or irritating anyone with said comment as it was not appropriate given the circumstance. Just trying to move on and be a better person. In short, I am sorry for what I said and should have thought about it before I said it.

Someone should put Jay in contact with me. I would love to take over JS-II as the Jaguar has always held a very special place in my heart.
Not a good idea. I actually agree with what sh3 stated above. From a legal standpoint even, it would be such a hassle and headache it would hardly be worth the effort. Ten years of stuff to sift through and decide what stays and what goes, I don't even think Jay would really want to bother with it. In the end, JSII died because it was time, I guess. if anyone were to revive the site, it would be Jay and I think he's done permanently. Lot's of good years and times, and some bad times, but the party there is over and the last chapter was written. Remember it for what it was, but let it go. Time to move on. Not like there aren't plenty of other places to talk Jaguar these days anyway.

Buddies has 240,000 of them in his garage.
That may actually be a true statement.

Well, you are one of the people that has first hand experience, so your reasoning on reddit is a pretty good, non biased explanation as to what sadly happened. Just saying.

Make sure you get the t-shirt:

I also recommend a progressive food party with Fast Food, Jawbreaker, Pressure Cooker, a smidge of Megamania, Mangia, and then end the evening with a one-two punch of Plaque Attack and Tooth Protectors.
I
'd buy it and wear it if I could get one that would fit. Just saying.

Nice to see this game get some recognition. Easily one of my all time top ten faves for the 2600. Growing up though, I was the only person I knew that had this game. Everyone wanted to play it though because nobody could find it. Really cool stuff though.
-
Hmm, so how did it do? Looking forward to playing this one day . . . awesome we are seeing it anyway.
-
Man, just been waiting on this release to be ready. I'm ready to plop some cash down on it already!

-
Hmm, if this is the Beta, what's going to be added to the finished product?

Burning a disc now. I will let you know in a moment.
You can add the link to the top as a CD image. All works great burnt with Alcohol 120%. Very cool game for the Jaguar. As a "Joke", this is a great punchline! It rocks!

Well, got me to log in for the first time in a very long time. Game looks awesome. I must say I am impressed with what I have seen. I agree with the above question though. What are the chances of an iso for play on a CD?

Price has been added to the LOT.

Been doing some trading and the like to get rid of all my doubles. Traded a couple LYNX lots as it is, so here is the last of said LOT. I take Paypal and Might take a money order in some cases. I had an emergency and need to move this ASAP. If you are interested, please PM me and we can work something out. Anyway, enough with the suspense, here is the instant Lynx collection:
(1) LYNX II system in almost new looking condition. LCD is bright and looks great. No scratches on the screen and the sound is just fine. Also has the instruction Booklet with it.
(1) LYNX Large Attache case to carry the Lynx and games in.
(1) LYNX Battery Pack. Holds D Batteries and lasts a really damn long time. I actually like this option better than the AC Adapter because you don't have to be right next to a socket.
(2) Proto Repro games. You will get Road Riot 4X4 and Marlboro Go! with this LOT. Comes in VHS cases with foam insert to make sure the cards do not slide around. Also has Instruction Booklets.
(24) Lynx Cards. None of them have the cases and Eight have their instruction booklets. Here is a list of said games:
W/Instructions:
Basketbrawl
Casino
Dirty Larry
Gates of Zendocon
Hard Drivin'
Rampage
Shadow of the Beast
Ultimate Chess Challenge
Loose:
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
Blue Lightning
California Games
Dracula The Undead
Hockey
Joust
Kung Food
Pac-Land
Paperboy
Pit Fighter
Power Factor
QIX
Rygar
Slime World
S.T.U.N. Runner
Xybots
I appreciate it guys and gals. Click the links below to see pics of the stuff. Also, since the idea of offers doesn't seem palatable for most people, I am going to go ahead and say $100.00 plus shipping for the LOT. If that seems high, which I don't see why, please PM me and make an offer.

I have a perfect copy of Zaku for the Lynx. I have beat it time and time again and I think it's time to move on. The game is obviously out of print. Taking offers if you want it. PM me and let me know.

Great game. Nice to see it's coming to the Jaguar finally. I always wondered when this was going to release. It will be a good addition to the very small Platformer genre for the Jaguar.
-
Man, I missed quite a bit on the Lynx this year. I so can't wait for Hot Dog to be ready again. Won't miss it next time.

it's kind of scary how negative he can be.LOL, sorry, didn't mean to frighten you with my 2-week old post, it must have taken you that long to get over it & pluck up the courage to reply. I call out Jag_Slave for drama each and every time I see him trying to infest these forums with it.
Want fries with that?

Nope, just hadn't been by for a bit and just saw it is all. It's all good.

I dunno, it would appear to me, using my eloquently long words and rambling in a mysterious, but possibly incoherent and ludicrous way, that actually being responsible for making new games for a 20 year old dead system could, in some small way, perhaps, and verily, be considered something of somewhat a constructive and, dare I say it, yes, I dare, positive thing to do.
What have you done recently?
Well, up until the magazine was taken off the market without warning from our editor, I was doing reviews and column work for Classic Video Gamer Magazine. I personally never had the pleasure of reviewing one of your games, however, a review was done in the magazine of Superfly, I believe and we gave it rave reviews. Still working on the Jaggy the Jaguar strip too, so yeah, I have done some stuff. I never once said anything about your ability to make games. Never been an issue with me. I was just commenting on the fact that for someone that calls someone out about being positive, it's kind of scary how negative he can be. Just a reminder of said comment is all.

I guess I got lucky recently at my local Goodwill. Got my hands on Dragon Warrior II for $3.00. Loose, but still works and the battery is good as well. Also snagged a complete copy of Silent hill for the Playstation for $4.00. Still, it's mostly a crap shoot like everyone here says. The Goodwill across town is a joke though. Those assclowns try and charge $6.00 a pop for VHS tapes and $10.00 for DVD's, even the cheap ones you get from the dollar store. Nightmare on that one. As for consoles? Only ones I have seen lately are broken down Playstations and one XBOX. I wish I could rujn into a 2600 or something like that. Haven't seen the games for sale in what seems like aeons.

I'm not talking the RCA Yellow, White and Red cables here. I am talking the Red, Green and Blue with Red and White for audio. I understand it wouldn't really upconvert the picture to HD, but it would clean it up quite a bit and make the color separations amazing on an HD set. There is a company out there that is making these for the Neo Geo system now and my buddy got one. We weren't really expecting a huge improvement, but we were wrong. The co0lor just looks amazing and it lost that almost fuzzy look that you still even get in S-Video. I just don't understand why nobody has made one of these for the Jaguar as I am sure that there are people out there that would want to buy one.

Can someone help me to contact Jay Smith ?

Oh, that old thing? I designed that quite a long time ago. Sometime in 2009 I think? LOL
@Stephen, I remember the area well. Back in my 7800 days I was WAY active there. Maybe it's time to dust off the system, eh? Just loves me some 2600.
