Hey all, I know these aren't the rarest games around, I just get sick of the inflated ebay prices. Can someone help me out here? I'm trying to find Flip Out and Syndicate for the Jaguar complete at a deacent price. If you can help, please PM me. Also, I do not use PAYPAL, money orders only for payment. Thanx'

Gorf Pluz has been in the works for years and I seem to be the most unpossitive person on these boards. Does anyone know where to get info on this game? I heard that a classic version is going to be released as well, where can I see these?
-
Cool, the more info I have on these games, the happier I am, as I always thought that the Jaguar was a system that just never got the respect and support that it deserved. I also ask such questione because my buddies and I are possibly going to be doing a cart game, a side scrolling shooter, to be exact for the machine. We have all of the stuff we need ready to be ordered, the only thing holding us back is that we seem to be missing information on how to program for the Jaguar Graphics chips. We are not professional programmers, but we would like to put out something of quality, if we are going to give it a whirl. Do any of you happen to know where I can dig up this information?

I'm checking the Backlight switch problems out, and all have the LCD's. If it is a switch problem, I will let you know!

Trade Jaguar CD w Games for SNES + 40+gms?
T2KFREEKER replied to T2KFREEKER's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Thank you everyone for the interrest, but the trade has been made, I appreciate all of the interrest and I hope to do bussiness with some of you again soon. -
Yes, on the Jag you don't really have much of a choice. Either wait for the games or don't wait for them. As a long time Jag fan you probably know about Eerievale already. Eerievale Homepage Other than that you can't do much else but wait and check out the forums regularly. Regards, Lars. 955221 Lars, I had seen the page a long time ago and lost the link, so, thanx' for reminding me of where it is. I am assuming that you run the page? I hope I'm right. How close to a finished product are you? The game looks fantastic and I can't wait to get my hands on even a demo. Also, since it is being done in the UK, will there be an NTSC version? 955480 Oh, so it was a good thing I posted about Eerievale. Sadly I can't tell you a release days yet. It will probably be one of the games you'll still have to wait for some time. Adventure games tend to take quite some time to develop, because research, design and writing play such an essential role in it. So you have a lot of things to care about that other genres like action games don't need. But you still have the work of creating the game engine, graphics, music etc just like in action games. So it is a lot more work that has to be done. Maybe that is why you hardly ever see new adventures games (I mean real ones, not a bunch of lame action sequences packed into some cinematic sequences ) these days. There actually is a demo of Eerievale, though. It is part of the Ocean Depths release, which you can order on the Starcat Developments Site in the products section, but it really only is a very early demo. It mainly was a proof of concept demo to show that it is possible to do a game like Eerievale on the Jag in the first place. Now, the game doesn't have too much in common with this demo anymore. The game will run on both PAL and NTSC machines, although I'm not in the UK, but in Germany. But it's also PAL territory so your point is still valid. Keep an eye on the Eerievale page, in the coming weeks I will probably put a new trailer online. Regards, Lars. 955663 I'll keep an eye on the board and hope new news keeps coming! Thanx' alot Lars.

help with pal/ntsc compatibility....
T2KFREEKER replied to kuifje76's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Master system works as well, except for Back To The Future III. It doesn't like to work on NTSC systems. All handheld systems are region free as far as I know due to there being no reason for signal conversion. -
For Sale; Ultra Rare Night Trap Red Box Mint S CD.
T2KFREEKER posted a topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Up for sale is this extremely rare Night Trap game for the Sega CD. Anyone who has this system and who wants a rare game shouldn't pass this up. It has the box instructions and both discs. Please don't be fooled, the blue box that came later is very common due to the fact that Digital Pictures had the reds pulled off of the shelves because of Joseph Liberman and his video game crusading. This is the version before the ratings authority got ahold of it. PM me with an offer if you are interrested. -
The Official "Thrift finds" Thread
T2KFREEKER replied to Happy_Dude's topic in Classic Console Discussion
At my local thrift shop I found a Panzer Dragoon II Zweii in it's original box for the Saturn for $1.99. It still had the foamy pad inside, had the instructions and no scratches on the disc! It was also a Sunday so I got 30% off of that! Talk about the bomb! -
Batman Joker's Revenge. I own it because I am a Batman fan and that is it! The worst batman game ever made until Batman Dark Tomorrow for XB and GC! Stargate Sucked as well!
-
That's it? No smoother frame rate or better graphics? Is there anyone on board who has played the two versions? Do you all think it would be worth the green to get it? $10.00 ain't a lot of money, but it could go towards something more worth while, know what I mean?

Is Checkered Flag any worse than Virtua Racing?
T2KFREEKER replied to superjudge3's topic in Atari Jaguar
I agree with you about Checkered Flag, the game is a piece of Trash, I would say the worst game on the Jaguar if Kasumi Ninja didn't exist. Only, is it fair to compare the game with Club Drive? Club Drive isnt even a racing game, you just drive, making it a strange sequal to Hard Drivin'? It was a much better game than Checkered Flag, anyway. And yes, Checkered Flag is MUCH WORSE than Virtua Racing. At least Virtua Racing is playable. -

Also, checked out the Songbird website, cool stuff. I'll be back shortly.

Maybe when I get a little more time, I really don't like bragging. Besides, I really don't have much in the way of rare stuff other than Dracula X for the TCD, The Red Box Night Trap for Sega CD, and a Neo Geo CD system and games. Mostly everything else is common, just a ton of it.

Seriously dude, if you don't go with the home designed method or the N64 method, My Atari is really a great source! I've ordered from them several times and they are great people to deal with, as stated above, they will take care of you.

Great looking site, added to my FAVES list, I'll be seeing you soon. -
Hey all, my buddy Jack just bought a bunch of Atari Lynx II systems that don't work. All of them power up, the screen turns white, but that's it. No please insert cartridge message, no sound, nothing. Put a cart in, it does the same thing, any clues as to what's wrong? If you give me a reason and solution that works, we'll send you two systems free of charge for helping.
-
Cool little demo. I think it would be a cool little Lynx game when finished. It is at least the kind of game you want to play on a hand held. I'll keep checking to see what the progress is.

I'm looking for a Jaguar CD system with a couple of games, doesn't matter which games, I just really want one again, only thing is it MUST work, please, no DOA. Lord Of The Rings Maximum Carnage Killer Instinct Robocop VS Terminator Super Street Fighter II Earthworm Jim Earthworm Jim 2 TMNT IV Turtles In Time Mickey Mania Super Double Dragon Final Fantasy II Final Fantasy III Secret Of Mana Spider-man and The X-Men Aladdin Zelda A link To The Past The Magical Quest Starring Mickey and Donald Starfox Double Dragon V The Shadow Falls Joe & Mac 2 Lost In The Tropics Alien VS. Predator Contra III The Alien Wars Doom Super Star Wars Super Empire Strikes Back Super Return Of The Jedi Young Merlin Populous Goof Troop Legend Mega Man X The Wizard Of Oz Tom and Jerry The Jungle Book (Virgin Version) Mega Man Soccer Wordtris Battletoads Donkey Kong Country 2 Mario Is Missing Super Off Road Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage The Lion King Road Runner's Death Valley Rally Race Drivin' Rental Box Donkey Kong Country Cart Only Super R Type Where In The World Is Carmen SanDiego Street Fighter II Super Castlevania IV Super Play Action Football Super Mario All Stare The Legend Of Gaia Super Mario World Street Fighter II Turbo Wolfenstein 3d Total Carnage Taz Mania That's a total of 57 games! Some of them are VERY RARE. All of the carts are in good shape as well as the boxes. They are not mint, but all have the labels and are still a bright grey color, not nicotine stained or dust frosted. The SNES is in great shape, and all here is guaranteed to work, no DOA. Please let me know, I just don't play my SNES anymore and Had to sell the JAG CD a couple of years back, and I miss the system. The trade is worth it, and you would be getting the better deal.

I have a list of games I'm looking for, and I don't care if they have the boxes and books, but if you have a game you want to sell not on the list, let me know, I may still be interrested. Gates Of Zendocon Electrocop Ballblazer Checkered Flag Blue Lightning Ms. Pac-Man Klax Raiden Battlezone Also, I do not use PAYPAL, I will pay with a money order, if you go to ebay and check feedback on dwournewalker, I think you will see what is up. What rock have you been under? What about Total Carnage released by Songbirg? Got only a few things to say to you. Either be more patient with programmers who are working on this, learn how to program, or try another game system. 955193 Dude, relax, you say I should try another system, and believe me, you wouldn't believe my collection if I told you, I just really enjoy my Atari toys. I know about Total Carnage, I asked about new games "Coming" out, not new games that came out. Don't get me wrong, Gorf PLUZ has always interrested me, but I have even tried their website as of late, and you can't even contact them anymore, which is a bit of a pain.

Just curious because I have the chance to get the 2 MEG version of Cybermorph, but I don't want to waste my money unless there is a good reason to. What is the difference in the two versions? Does anyone know?
-
I've never personally had problems with a Lynx card, but I do live in the desert and have a carrying case. I have noticed that a few of my friends who do have the Lynx system have problems with the cards when they get too dusty, and yes, heat kills them too. My friend Jack had his AVP card die because he left it out on his entertainment system for a while and it got dusty. The card died. No matter how clean he gets it, it still won't work.
-
Just curious, as I am a big Jaguar fan, and I am tired of waiting for Gorf Pluz and any other game from that developer as I am having a hard time believing that they will ever release. Does anyone here know if any other new games are in the works? Hell, I'd be happy if they were previously abandoned projects that are being finished. I can always wish.
