Sorry, that's not going to be possible. What he's doing here is essentially using what he's learned about the Jag Doom wad, taking Doom 2 level data, editing it to make it compatible with the Jag Doom we know & sticking it in there, similar kind of thing that 2600 people do when they work on existing games to make them do stuff they didn't originally. It's probably not exactly as easy as I made it sound but he said it's not that difficult - just using tools that are already out there & applying what he learned. Well I'm not sure you could call him a developer as such, since he's essentially only showing us the results of (what I'd personally call) ROM hacking and level editing here, but even I got a bit excited about it & I'm not known for getting giddy about many 15 year old games. There is no impending release & he's not made any announcements as far as I know. As it stands there are now at least 3 current attempts to work on existing Jaguar Doom stuff & each interests me in different ways - what belboz is doing is by far the most interesting & advanced from what I can see & what he told me about it is very promising for all of us - I'd say it's worth getting excited about. So I'll remain positive, hopeful & a bit excited myself As for this Doom 1.5 stuff, while the vast majority of Jag fans would probably be quite interested in taking a copy of the levels my mate has edited, converted & injected, it's probably quite wrong to even think about releasing it & it's been made clear that if it was even to leak out it wouldn't be long before iD (or, more correctly, ZeniMax Media) were pointed in the right direction & came looking for the 'culprit'... whether they could really be arsed about a few dozen fans playing level data from Doom II on a console probably none of them even know exists is open to debate, but I'm not interested in having that debate or giving any reason to have it - I'm just making videos of the results of someone else's work & that's the limit of my involvement. I suppose he could take it with him when he goes to the next JagFest, to show people what he's done in person, but that's up to him & depends if he even plans to visit another JagFest. When I get a minute, what I'll do is make some more videos of the remaining levels he's converted (4 & 5 (6 seems almost right but there is a little gfx bug so I'll see if anything else turns up today) - last night I asked him how much more he was planning on doing & he said 'the whole of the first episode with hex editing' - at the time I didn't think what that might mean, but it seems like everything up to the first boss fight. So then I'll leave it up to him whether he wants to talk more about it himself or whatever (I'm getting quite behind with my own jag stuff tbh and can't really spare much of the little bit of free time I have left while there is still so much to do). Hope that clears things up a bit & isn't too disappointing to some people. I suppose the last thing he wants is any kind of legal issues when all he wants to do is work on Jag Doom & show off some of the things he's learned about it so far with this Doom 1.5 as he calls it. I know he's been reading all your replies here & on other forums & appreciates the positive comments & the friendly suggestions/warnings So, how far along is this project anyway> It's interesting to see that DOOM II might finally make an appearance on the Jaguar CD. Would be nice if your buddy could also pop in the musicla score there as well, -kza-. Too bad the original Jaguar DOOM didn't support the music though or it might have been easy. You'd have to write it all from scratch though.

I was going to start collecting the Japanese Mega CD games and the bug just left me. I have way too much clutter as it is, so here is a Japanese Sega Mega CD 2 system with six games. The system comes with the AC Adapter and is in pretty nice condition. It works just fine. The games are also complete and look new still and this would be a great way to start that Japanese Sega Collection you know you always wanted. As a note, yes the system will work with US Sega Genesis systems you just can't play US games in the CD unit, Japanese only. I'm looking for $60.00 plus shipping for the lot. Well, the love here is for the original Lynx. The system is more durable and has less problems. I have seen less broken Lynx I units vs Lynx II units. Truthfully though, both versions are nice for their own reasons and you can't really go wrong either way.

Wow, after really taking a hard long look at this, this game easily looks to be the next one I try and snag since Adventure II. Looks like a ton of work went into this, total Kudos. I guess I'll say more once I am lucky enough to play it . . .

Midnight Magic for sure. I was so happy when I was able to score that cart. It may not have the graphics of the Commodore version, but the simplicity of the 2600 version is awesome. I too love Video Pinball, damnit! Time to hook the 2600 up again anyway!

The Skinny; seriously, for those of you that have enjoyed Jaggy so far, I got nothing but love all. For those of you that haven't, well I got nothing buy Love too. My sense of humor is what it is, and what I find funny might not be funny to someone else. Either way, I will not censor myself as censorship sucks and I believe that people should have the right to voice what they believe in, freely and openly. The pirates, the developers, the worriers, the whiners, the unhappy, and those that take things either not serious enough or too seriously are all a part of life and this community. They will all be represented in the comic. Why, you may ask? Because at times all of them can be so ridiculous that you just can't help but find it funny. If by chance you may think I am pointing my finger at you specifically, well maybe you have a guilty conscience. Example, I made Astropuff one of the bad guys to a degree as he helped sabotage Jaggy and his friends. Is Astropuff a bad guy? Not that I am maware of, as a matter of fact, I happen to think the guy is awesome, but there he is. I thought it might be funny, especially with a name like "Astropuff", why not be a beatnik, chain smoking gopher? Don't know, but there you have it. Please do not take what I have done in any of the strips, or upcoming ones personally because it isn't meant to be at all. It's just a fun way for me to blow off steam and spread what I hope to be some really well placed humor into the gaming community I love so much. As for updates. After surviving H1N1 and the flu and Bronchitis, I am finally feeling better. It's been Hell and even though things are not perfect, I think it is time for Jaggy to return again. A new strip will be up by next Thursday. The continuation of Digital War will be in full effect, and should I really be getting super creative, since it has been awhile, I suppose I might make it a larger block of panels. Either way, you guys rock and I appreciate the criticism, both bad and good. Without it, there would be no reason to even draw the comic. Just my sense of humor coming out all. That's what comics and comedians do, they make fun of stuff that seems to be all out in a particular group all the time. Not trying to step on toes, just having some fun is all.
