  1. Hell yeah, the reverse kick rules! Best version of DD under the arcade. Just cause of the blocky sprites & shit sounds I love so much.
  2. This version plays *exactly* like the 2600 version, they just changed the graphics. And both versions are bad. I did play through the 2600 version(It wasn't fun, trust me..) and if I remember right the game just repeats..Back to the first floor.
  3. Wow, this is rad I wouldn't mind having it on cart. Warlords is still my favorite multiplayer game.
  4. Rolling Thunder arcade love that wierd music. Double Dragon I and II, and Shinobi as runner-ups.
  5. Super Dodge Ball, and SuperC(My favorite NES game period) Wizards and Warriors II: Ironsword A Boy and His Blob Jaws(killer game) Double Dragon I, II, and III Wrath of the Black Manta Codename: Viper Rolling Thunder Ghostbusters Adventure Island(Wonderboy ripoff) Time Zone(Japanese platformer) Cobra Triangle Demon Sword Infiltrator Addams Family Values Spelunker Zelda I, and II Target Renegade Milon's Secret Castle Startropics Clash at Demonhead Yo Noid! Bionic Commando Star Soldier Gradius Lifeforce Street Fighter 2010 Legend of Kage Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers Etc......
  6. Play 720 on the speccy for a good laugh.....nice isometric engine there. Now the UK version on the c64, flawless.
  7. It depends on where you look, I picked up 2 copies for $5 each at a pawn shop. Found Actraiser for $3 at a flea market....etc I still think the game is worth $40 bucks, but you can probably find it cheaper somewhere.
  8. Yeah according to a whopping 12 people
  9. They really screwed the music up on the SNES trilogy...the NES music sounds 100x better. They added a gay trumpet solo over the first stage music to add insult to injury.
  10. Do you have Beanstalk? I've been searching for it for a loooong ass time.
  11. Tenchu is awesome Are you confusing Impossible Mission with Mission: Impossible? Metal Gear and Impossible Mission got nothing in common.
  12. Ahh, don't forget Illusion of Gaia. It's like a cross between Zelda and Chrono Trigger.
  13. I tried to get into Faxanadu, the password system killed it for me.
  14. Man I can't tell you how much I would love to see a new classic castlevania done in the new ULtimate GNG style or just 2-D really. That's what I was thinking Contra: Shattered Soldier on the PS2 was awesome too, it was 3d but they kept the gameplay 2d. Check it out if you haven't yet.
  15. Wow, two games I could really do without. Impossible Mission was awesome back in the day but it doesn't do much for me anymore. I liked IM 2 better anyway. Cali Games just always sucked. From System 3 I would hope that they remade MYTH for the DS. That would make me happy, very happy happy.
  16. Right on And Sega Saturn X is right, the Metroid Vania's can't really be compared to the classic games. But I love SOTN, and I'll pick up the DS game one of these days, I am growing tired of the Metroid style at this point.....
  17. How disappointing about Mr Kizza, I thought I'd really run into the Advanced Lawnmower Sim guy....... Well, anyway here's my version. Professional Lawn Mower Simulator http://gorevolt.com/Rocko/Games/ProLawnSim.rar
  18. Actraiser rocks, I found the cart for $3 at a fleamarket. Super Metroid is the best in the series and I usually see it go for $25 so I haven't picked it up(Got the ROM obviously.) SUPER MARIO RPG.......get it, now. That and Earthbound. The two reasons I bought a SNES back in the day.
  19. Man that was a tough decision....but since there was only one Castlevania on the Genesis and it was great I had to vote for it underdog stylee...I like most of them equally though. The N64 version wasn't as bad as the first PS2 game, I'll give it that. It wasn't that good though if ya ask me.
  20. I didn't like the game much, it needed more fucking depth. For me it was a button mashing nightmare. But you're right about the music, it has some great tunes.
  21. Didn't the apple have 4-color graphics? I loved Swashbuckler and Karateka. But if that's the case the 16-color graphics on the c64 would take up space faster than 4-color graphics. So the same game on both systems would obviously load faster on the apple. If you mean the disk drive was actually faster itself, then ignore me....I'm just throwing a bone in...
  22. It's the music man, it's so happy, too happy. In fact it's so happy that it's evil.... I got it playing in my head for the rest of the day now...Let the nightmares come.
  23. I do, I don't want 3 systems. I got a basement full of systems. The less material crap taking up space, the better.
