I'm writing a piece on video game bosses for Wikipedia. The article is athttp://www.wikipedia.org & search for boss (video game). A boss is a computer controlled character that is substantially more difficult and finishes either the game or a level in the game. We've identified the first video arcade game as "the mothership" from Phoenix in 1980. But, I'm having trouble figuring out the first console game with a boss. At this time, I think it is Super Mario Brothers. Do you know of any Atari 2600 games that had a boss? Thanks.
