I´m adding Jahfish here, I traded sometimes with him and it tooks some time, but I received the items.

He has trouble now afaik, maybe this is the reason why he hasn´t sent the carts to MMF.

Another one is Marco, I bought a cart on ebay and he mailed it fast in excellent condition.

And from StanJr I got some free carts, thanks a lot, only a few days for overseas.

I was at the flea market today and got the following:

 

VCS 2600: Chopper Command, Space Invaders and one cart with no label, don´t know what it is.

VCS 7800: Ninja Golf

NES/Famicom: The magical quest starring Mickey Mouse

Genesis: Rolo to the rescue

 

All together for about 18 Euros.

The DX-64 is nearly the same as the SX-64, but has 2 floppy-drives.

 

That´s the only difference.

Hm, I personally never owned a Falcon, so I cannot help now. Try search the hard drive, maybe it is in one of the folders.

When you have found it, copy it to the root directory, then it wil be loaded every time you start the Falcon.

You find every Accessory in the Info-menu.

The OS not, but the xcontrol.acc should be in the root-directory.

Can i download a newer version of the OS? I would like to cleanly reinstall on my Falcon, but I didn't receive any software disks with it.

 

The TOS is in ROMs, so you have to change the ROMs if you want to update the TOS.

That´s why you don´t get any disks.

Due to the fact that the games are vector-based and no PAL or NTSC-output, there SHOULD be no problems.

 

But I don´t know it 100%.

[PAL and NTSC: explain this]

AFAIK PAL and Secam are the same. On the "Smurf"-cart it is printed, that it is for PAL/SECAM-televisions.

[ST <--> PC Serial or MIDI Link software?]

The easiest way of all is of course to just transfer a floppy disk back and forth, but I'd prefer to have a little desk accessory that allows me to do a simple quick transfer from pc to st, Im sure someone somewhere has writen a transfer program...

 

What exactly do you meen by using a terminal program? afaik terminal programs just emulate a dumb terminal on a smarter machine... the only way to transfer data with them is to play arround using logging and complex encoding (since they dont transmit binary data do they?), and I think it'd be quicker to use a floppy.

 

I mean a program which you use to log into a mailbox (if nowadays somewhere a mailbox exists.).
