  1. The ST used an interface called ACSI, similar to SCSI.

Can´t remember any restrictions at size, but as far as I remember, the biggest HD for the ST was about 80-100 MB.

It depend on TOS version. I had 560 MB SCSI disk on STfm with TOS 2.6

Thanks, one more point to know. ;)

My 260 ST has had TOS 1.04 and my HD was 20 MB. ;)

  2. What are you guys talking about? My 1040ST doesn't have a Blitter chip (yet), but I've yet to come across any software that requires a Blitter...I've been told that some stuff will run marginally faster with a Blitter though. :? Also, I thought one of the TT's selling points in advancements over the ST line was that it DID have a Blitter (like the STE's)?!?!? :?

Some "normal" STs have a Blitter too, you require TOS 1.02 (1.2) to use the advantage of the Blitter.

  3. I would take precaution dealing with him, I've tried working out a couple of deals with him and nothing ever happened. I ended up just buying one of his auctions and what do you know, I've been waiting for the package since November 29th 2002 and I still don't have it.

I have dealt with him sometimes using ebay, no problems.

But he hasen´t left feedback anytime. :(
