I would get all the carts if they're in good shape, and use them for making tables,and ect. If Super Mario Bro/Duck Hunts games are used for making tables, and etc., why not? I would sell the tables and etc. on ebay then. I doubt if they could be used for future 2600 homebrew or hack games. No plans on making them into a massive et shrine or temple.

mine was X-men for the nes. My runner-ups were Justice League Task force and Spider-man & x-man: Arcade's Revenge. I almost rented Time Killers, and Sword of Sodan for the Genesis.

When I was in Elementry school, every student went to a computer lab with the green screen apple computers playing Edutainment games. I found out that cheat codes were hidden by using a control or shift key with a letter on the keyboard. I believe that those games didn't had an impact for learning for me. No. Don't want another Double Dragon for the 2600 in terms of games that shouldn't be ported to the 2600. I think is more suited for thejaguar, maybe the lynx,and the 7800. 7800 can do up to 512K cartridge games. I think that is half of the genesis game for out of this world in terms of memory.

That is too early for a game system. Wait for your son to be 3 or 4 years old at least. Sega Pico maybe before then. I don't know anyone with that system. I got other systems in mind, but I don't have any experience with the type of games your talking about.

Many video game developers have falled to the way side along with publishers. What should concerned with is if is atari going merge with another company like EA. It Atari Merges with another company like ea, this community may not be allowed to make more hombrew games for atari systems depending on the company.

I own both games. I considered both to be good games. I didn't mention raystorm and soul blade because he asked for great games. There are good number of good not great titles like raycrisis.
