  1. It's not uncommon for people to confuse ColecoVision carts for 2600 carts, since they are just about the same size.  I know I've seen quite a few auctions for 2600 systems and/or games that had a few CV titles thrown in (and listed as 2600 games).  :)  Some of them can be tricky, especially those Parker Brothers titles.  Well, not tricky for die-hard classic gamers, but tricky for those not as familiar with the differences between all the systems.

No doubt. There is a videogame store that confused ColecoVison and Adam Computer games as Atari games.

  2. The worst game I heard of is Cosmic Race for Playstation one. It is an import that was given a 0 by gameplayers the Magazine. It was on a 1 to 100 rating. They said "I rather play an intellivion game". It changed their scoring system

My other runner ups were Big Rigs, and timekillers for Genesis. I never played these games and I don't plan on. I forgot about a rpg call Maka Maka. Never planned for the snes. I will not play it on an emulator for this the Japan only game.

  3. [sTART DREAM SEQUENCE]

Once the 5200 version get's done then maybe it could be ported to the A8 with the driving controller :lust: Oh, and then even ported to the 7800...SWEET!!!!

There was information posted on the 2600 forum that had Tempest being work on for the 7800 according to Atari Release Schedule thread by Curt Vendel. That last post was March 16th on the thread. Dave Getreu was the programmer.

  4. Do local Gamestops and Eb stores carry this "old" merchandise? I haven't been to my local Gamestop in ages....perhaps it's time for a road trip! (Since I drive right by there twice a day, I think I can manage..lol)

I don't think gamestop does anymore. I know that they dot a rid of there nes and genesis games a couple years ago in gamestop. Last time I check, Ebgames did. This was before the merger.

  5. Although Atari and Sega had a strong relationship, There is good chance that the Jaguar Cd Had some type of way to prevent it from happening like running it without some type of device like Bleem for DreamCast. Although both have an Encription code, both most likely have different codes. Even if It works by making Sega Cd Games themselves can't go on a jaguar cd, There has to be a lockout

code. Putting them on a disc that works for jaguar shouldn't unless the code was

    made for Jag CD.

Here's the thing: it is very unethical in terms of trademarks and Copyrights if is

possible. Game companies that exists today from the Sega Cd period might care. I see why you want sega cd games on Jaguar Cd: so you can play games like Shining force cd. What would happen if other jaguar owners may want rare games for sega Cd for that you make for Jaguar Cd by copying rare games? There had been homebrew games that are the same the arcade games and changed names of these games to prevent a chance of a lawsuit that released or haven't been sold but being downloaded instead.

  6. They claim they're aiming at the 18-34 crowd. The problem I have is the original Star Trek then a generation of fans and viewers. If this wasn't the cause why middle aged people watch star trek movies? The network does not have a clue that some shows that there are middle age viewers. Man show can be for people over 34 when it was on Comedy Central Before Jimmy Kimmel left the show.

If they want to be a videogame Network have Cartoons like Dungeon & Dragons, and pole position.

  7. Are you sure it's 6 million sold not shipped? I am wondering because sony has known to have shippments sold to stores, not what the real number bought by consumers. I have a brother that works at K-mart and says that psps haven't been selling much ever at his store.

  8. Mine was My Brother and I getting a nes for Christmas in 91. We were playing it none stop. It was something we wanted for a couple years. At that point the 7800 had no more games and the stores that had them got a rid of them on clearence. I tried at some else's house first a few years before.

  9. I think your're asking to much out the 2600. The 7800 more made for Dragon Warrior then the 2600. The 7800 can go up to 512K. Dragon Warrior also had a save future. Now granted there was no true rpg for the 7800, but the memory indicates that it can. What the 2600 could do is possibly having early rpgs like Wizardry, and Akalabeth.

  10. If it's a mail no surprise. It reminds of what hapenned to a place called video game Exchange. It had a snow brothers box and game for $90 and Tengren Tetris for $100.00 back in 1995. The Next time I came in, The Door was broken by glass and Snow Brothers and Tetris was missing. They had the two games out in the open.
