Yesterday I found a Model 2 Sega-CD with a Model 2 Genesis for $3. Had both power supplies a 3 button controller but no A/V cable but I already have one of those. Got around to testing it today and it works.

Thats what I thought. I beat this game a long time ago on PC.

MS-DOS for sure. Trying to get Doom II running on a 486DX2-50 was quite an adventure. No HAL to deal with.

Boomtown days here in Joplin. Its a local festival to celebrate the founding of this region via the lead and zinc mining. The festival is 3 days. We went on Fri and Sat. I would say Dreamcast. I have 3 and all play CD-R. My second choice would be SegaCD. I would love to see a new RPG for either one of these systems.

I know what you mean about Dragster. Its one of the first games I got. I still love it. 6.04 is the best I ever got. I will try now with your tips and see how it goes.

Got a couple more questions. I thought I read somewhere that you cant finish Shining Force CD without the save cart. Is this true? Also what are some of the good games beside the RPG's which I plan on playing. I dont think I will like the full motion video games.

Nice find! Dose it have that odd looking AV cable for the 32X also or just for the CDX? That CDX alone is worth more than what you paid. No the 32x av cable wasnt with it but I had one already.

The cart slot is touchy I cant get any EA games to work. Is there any easy way to clean it? Also the 32x is wobbly when it is in the slot.

Depends on the game. If its a first person shooter then its mouse and keyboard. Driving or an emulator then it a controller.

I got the 32x when it came out. I thought its was a great system. I got 3 games when it came out. Star Wars Doom Blackthorne I really liked Blackthorne and Star Wars. I still wish I had Blackthorne I guess its rare.

I got an atari and my brother got an intellivision. The first game he got beside the poker game that was the pack in game was Astrosmash and Baseball. I was so jealous cause the games looked so much better on the intellivision.

Aside from the awesome Atari based arcade ports that use real hardware. There is great potential with this. Look at the stuff that groovybee has been doing for the 7800. I see nothing but greatness if a project was to come of this.

I have used BlueMSX It emulates the Colecovision and some other Sega systems(SG1000).
