I just finished Mass Effect on PC. What a game!!!! Bioshock was good also but I enjoyed Mass Effect more.

I'm afraid that I might be mixing up Asteroids II, Cosmic Chasm and a Pink Floyd Laser Light show that I once saw, but... I think there was a coin op game wher after you die, this giant (green?) alien head shows up and laughs at you. I think it was a vector game and it was the leader of the baddies and said something like 'ha, ha, you puny human you'll never stop us' or whatever. Any idea what game that was?

Mark you always find the best stuff at a great price. I wish I was in your area. It is very hard to find good stuff in this area. There are so may resellers. This years best find for me so far has been the 4 port 5200 and games that I found. It has taken me a few years to find anything that good. We go thrifting every week. The Goodwill here never has anything good. They had a Dreamcast keyboard for 15 bucks. I waited 2 weeks for them to reduce the price. My wife goes there daily and they never have gaming stuff.

Need for Speed 2 Hot Pursuit PS2 $1

Nintendo 64 for free. It doesn't have the power supply, AV cables or controllers. Tested it and it works

A plug and play Commodore 64 by Mammoth for $2.

 

 

Flea Market finds

Goldeneye for Nintendo 64 $5. I know a little expensive but its a must have game for the system.

Simpsons Hit and Run for PS2 $5.

 

Oh and I found Jungle Hunt for the 5200 for .99 cents at Vintage stock.

I had a light sixer with about 25 commons and sold it to a guy for $25. Then I saw the same guy at the local flea market trying to sell it for $75. Some people are just clueless.

Under the big silver thingy you will find a number of chips. Thats where you will find the chips I spoke of.

I bought 2 new chips and installed them. I put sockets then seated them in the sockets so if I have to replace them in the future it will be a snap.

I had a the same problem with both controller ports and had to replace the 4052 chips on the board.

Yeah the tube lights up it sounds like a game related noise but it wont coin up.

But it is a victim of lightning and has serious burn in issues. It does come on but has a high pitched whine and the monitor comes on. Any ideas what could be wrong? It's my first cab.

I have the DEFAULT_TV_MODE=NTSC in my cfg file but it still comes up as PAL.

I got it working the only problem is it starts the emulator in PAL. Thats ok on my flat screen cause i can read it enough to adjust it to NTSC. But on my 13 inch tv there is no way to change it. I have the tv mode in the config file set to NTSC but it doesnt help. I looks great on the flat screen the colors are a little off. But otherwise works great. Trying to play JumpMan Jr with the 5200 controllers is near impossible. And I am finally able to beat Super Cobra. Thanks!!!

I burned it and had the 5200.rom in the root of the cd and it said it couldnt find the bios file. I used the cfg file that you supplied.

Hey Bubsy, I've got a Dreamcast, but I've never actually plugged it in or played it. What would I need to do to be able to play 5200 games on my Dreamcast? That would be pretty cool.
