For $300 USD at Radio Shack. What is the EMU scene like for it. Need info This is the newest console I have had since Dreamcast. My boys are gonna be stoked.

First console RPG I played was Zelda. I got a Genesis in late 1993 and got Phantasy Star III and really enjoyed it(more than Sword of Vermillion). When I tried to play it through emu not long ago. I could only get through a small part of the second gen before getting bored. Its like alot of things. Its really cool at the time but it doesnt stand up if you have other things/better things to play.

Found these today for a quarter each. They both work. The Galaxian has one broken joystick. Dont know if I am going to keep them or not. I wanted these so bad when I was a kid. I got a Pac Man II by Entex but I was disapointed cause I wanted the Coleco version instead.

This game is sweet!!! Dont Try it unless you have a good video card I have a 8800GTS 640MB and I cant play it at any higher resolution then 1024x768. Im torn between this and COD4 for GOTY.

I agree with the DX9 to DX10 comparison. I am running Vista right now and havent tried it on my XP install. I have a quad core and a 8800GTS 640MB video card and I run at 1024X768 All high detail an I get no slow downs. I am going to try the demo on XP this weekend to se if I can notice any visual difference between DX9 and DX10.

And it looks fantastic. This is the first game I have tried with DX10. I am defiantly going to buy this one. It is a huge download at 1.8GB. Just a warning if you have a slow connection.

Rescue on Fractalus - Just got this and oh the memories of playing it on my C-64 in the dark when I was a kid.

I was able to replace the chips and now its working right. I can play QIX and Adventure II the right way!!! Now I am just waiting for Defender to come in the mail.

The sad and ironic part about "the crash" was I was into the c-64 by thenand didnt "buy" games at that point. I guess I helped cause it.

Does Extended BASIC have support for the synthesizer? I recall the Extended BASIC cartridge being really comprehensive, offering all the great features the wimpy built-in BASIC didn't include.Dont remind me. My father got me the 4A for xmas in 82 with the box for the disk drive and he got me 32k memory expansion. But he didnt know I couldnt use the memory expansion without extended BASIC. I was so mad that I was limited. I got a C64 not long after that.

Messed with the rf switch no luck. I also tried a TV/Game switch that didnt help. Guess its broken. Any other ideas.

I will try to open up the rf switch. I tried changing channels and it didnt help. Does it have a adjustable pot in the rf switch?

I tried Turbo with the driving controller and it a blast. I just wish it was in color.

I recently got a Colecovision it plays great but it has no color. I have it connected with a RCA to Coax connector. I really dont want to do a video mod. Any ideas?

Well, it was boring as hell, even with the walkthrough. I kept leaving and coming back to it. It's not exactly what you would call riveting.
Myself who got the cart(earthworld) back in the day I still cant beat it. And Fireworld aint much better.

No just the basic package. They are really hard to get in my area. My wife was at Sam goody in the mall asking about it. Aguy was standing beside her and said he was wondwring too. So when my wife left the store this guy followed her out. Then he motioned to my wife and said he was an employee of Radio Shack and doing "reconnaissance", which is right around the corner from Sam Goody, and that they were getting 2 today. So my waited and got one. The only thing I dot like about the Wii is thw WIFI connection. I hate WIFI and dont have a WAP. So I will probably have to get the USB LAN adapter.
