I am running Ubuntu 12.04 and looking for a emulator for the Atari 7800. My guess is its gonna be M.E.S.S.. Is M.E.S.S. available for Ubuntu? If so what dependencies are needed to compile it.

Cart only for me please.

You can also run a variety of emulators ont the Dreamcast also. MAME 37b5 works well on it.

This game is a classic or a reason. It is a great game. It is so awesome that Bob is in contact with you. Bob has made a lot of great games and this is one of them. Another great game he has created or this system is Bentley Bear: Crystal Quest. Check it out.

I will say this. Daniel please never give up on the community. Your incite and knowledge of the system are second to none. I understand you can get frustrated with expectations. I say to hell with them. Do what makes you feel good. You inspire people to create. Please continue opening doors to those who want to create also.

I like the model 1 but i dont have one right now. I was however lucky to find a CDX for 25 bux. The CDX is my fave by far.

I don't live it CT IA or MI so collecting my beer cans wont help . Not gonna do a Newman and a Kramer scam either.

Bob is the reason I bought my 7800 back in 2007. He and Ken were my influence for this system. Plus I can play 2600 games.

Have you thought of taking the original game having it level 3 only with a variation selection so you can chose the adventure you like. Even the ones where the keys are locked in the castles.

Can't wait to see what new things you come up with for this games.

I bought my first 5200, a 2 port, off of ebay with some games for 40 dollars. 6 months later I found a working 4 port with games for 11 dollars at a yard sale. Still ended up buying a rebuilt gold controller of of ebay cause I got tired of fixing the stock ones.

From what I understand It only uses the Pokey sounds from the XM. The xtra memory is used up by the rom. Meaning the sound will only work with the XM. The game will play with no sounds if there is no XM.

What I am wondering is did Fandal get any of the money from Fernado for doing the conversions.

I have never played any of the metroid games. My first experience with the NES was not a good one. I bought it in 88 with the Donkey Kong cart not knowing it didn't have all four levels. I quickly returned the system and the game after finding that it didn't and didn't own another Nintendo system till the 64. However I my roomate in college around 91 had one and I got my first taste of Zelda an addiction that has never left me.

Thank you for such an upgrade to the original code. This is equal to PacMan Collection. Bob you have some compition in the 7800 coding dept. now. Can't wait to see what else you have for the 7800.
