Why? The Flashnack 3 is a emulator. Can't you get that through all the other emulation machines?

Did this to my Flashback 2 a year ago had to replace the regulator and the capacitor next to regulator. The regulator was burnt and the cap had exploded.

I know when I got the game I was 12 years old and very disappointed that I wasted one of my christmas gifts on this pile of crap. I played it for about a month and that's it. I was glad that I had gotten Defender also otherwise it would have been a very bad christmas.

For Christmas I think it was 82 I got my first computer. It was a TI994A. I don't think I got the PEB at the same time maybe I did? But it came down to I had the PEB with the floppy disk, 32K memory expansion, and Speech Synth. My dad didn't get the xtended BASIC cart so that xtra 32k was useless unless I learned assembly. I was 12 yrs old and couldn't convince my dad to buy me a editor/assembler after spending all that money. 2 yrs later I had a C64. We had apple II+ and apple IIe in school. one friend had a trs80 and another had a 400 with star raiders.

The power button is a problem on my 7800. If you don't know when the power button is flaky on a 2600/7800 you can get "frying effects". Meaning you can get weird effects if the power fluctuates on power up. this is what i have always done. insert the cart if it doesn't work try the power again. If it doesn't work again move the cart slightly and try again. Do this until the game works or stop and try another game. If you have ever owned an older cartridge system you know that if it don't work the first time mess with it a little til you can get it to work

This really looks good. I understand that its hard to find time when there is family and a job involved. This was one of my favs BITD. I really look forward to this being completed. Keep up the good work and take your time.
