  1. Switched from Altirra OS to XL/XE OS v2 and that fixed the problem.
  2. Keep getting program stopped due to program error in Altirra. Running 130XE mode, 128k RAM, NTSC and also tried PAL.
  3. I used this to play through all the Lode Runner and Championship levels last year. Some of the levels are brutal and I cant imagine anyone could play through the whole game on "1 credit" so to speak. https://archive.org/details/mac_Lode_Runner Would be a good edition to the 7800 library - esp if you could create your own levels.
  4. I like #2 - all are good though

    68000 Chip?

I wonder how much more the parts for the arcade board cost to manufacture over the regular Jag. Forget the HD, just the 322bit DSP bus, 68010 and 4 meg RAM.
  6. legeek - I like the last table you put there. Even if the scores "overlaid" the graphics I think a few trinket pictures help alot. I know they dont do anything, but visually make a world of difference IMHO.
  7. My vote would be to maybe add a ghost or two and maybe a baby pac to the pinball table - it doesnt need to look like the arcade but its pretty sparse right now.
  8. This game was designed as a quarter eater back in the day (IMHO) - I always wanted to play it more but the cost/benefit wasnt there for me. Getting this on a console would finally allow me to enjoy this title without breaking the bank
  9. One right here for a good price: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/278443-for-sale-atari-st-manuals/
  10. That is the legal interpretation. Price is whatever someone is willing to sell for. This really isnt the place to ask about how to purchase ROMs illegally for an SD device. Now if the original creators of such carts offer them at a discount that would be great, but dont hold your breath for original releases.
  11. Id just like to know who created this awful design and how it got so far along before some realized what a total POS it was. Then again the 5200 joysticks made it to production - maybe the same designer?
  12. I fully understand the idea - Im just providing the right way to go about it.
  13. As long as your delivering said cart of rom with purchase, sure.
  14. I just played a game of Bubbles today - I forgot about this oddball in the Williams catalog. Looks like it could be a pretty easy conversion for the ole 8bit.
  15. Pete, One suggestion to make this a bit more fun IMHO is to align the monsters with room/activity. You created an excellent engine to allow multiple multicolor objects roam around a room but for this series it always seemed strange to me that I would run into a unicorn, dragon, bug, skeleton, etc... all in the same room bouncing around. I think it would be better to have more constraint on the monsters and for them to have a purpose for wherever you are. Lots of spiders in a room I could see - a dragon tends to live alone. Just my $0.02
  16. Steve was also caught using an 8 way joystick at one point which nullified one of his scores. You can control the barrels different with an 8 way vs the normal 4 way. Regardless this thing is a mess - anything in the 90's/2K's should be tossed.
  17. Magic Carpet was awesome when it came out - I bought it from GoG a few years back and finished 1 & 2, though 2 was a bit of a let down. Id think the entire engine would need to be rewritten/tweaked to run on the Jag. The PC version prob wasnt very efficient, though awesome back in the day. Even running on my modern rig the final level was a bear to get through - I was prob getting 1fps at one point with all the dragons and such.
  18. Well if you're keeping a list my votes: Ultima V Bards Tale Zoo Keeper Winter Games II Elevator Action Bonus - Test Drive
  19. That catalog was put into your 2600 box when produced - if you know when the console came off the factory floor that would be a better indicator. Yours couldve been produced in Jan of '80 and sold in July after Adventure had truly been released.
