You could have red 'fire' ants which would cause swelling for a period of time. Too much swelling and the finger stops.

FS: Massive Atari Jaguar collection - 74 distinct games/demos
Goochman replied to lilisaur's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
It might help if you can list what you paid for it - that would atelast give a starting point for folks. I only say this cause who knows if you bought everything at the height of pricing which might not be applicable to most of the things in your collection, or maybe you bought at the low point -

Does anyone know how to get this to recognize a stelladaptor usb controller? It wont recognize my 'controller' and I have to use the keyboard controls. -

Did you get Adventure the month it was released?

Superman was in the 1979 Sears WIshbook but not Adventure: http://www.wishbookweb.com/FB/1979_Sears_Wishbook/#654 -
You can only get Johnny Castaway to work under a virtualized image on Windows. Not VM or VirtualBox but the native Windows VM capability. Unfort that runs in a window so to turn on the screensaver is a bit of work and its 'windowed', but if you want to see ole Johnny suffer trying to escape you can do it that way.

Take a look at picnic paranoia on the 8bit for some gameplay inspiration

Instead of a 'Zoo' it could be an 'Alien Roundup' - same gameplay but different sprite shapes.

Similar sounding melodies would be fine - just make it

Ah yes I see that now. I thought that was the thread with the boxed image sets being sold and not something new

Back in the day the original Lode Runner for the 8bit was tough to crack - as such it was a game I never really got into. Recently someone posted a Mac Plus online emulator where you could play classics such as Lode runner and Im kinda hooked on it. Im working my way through completing every level which is only possible due to the option to select your starting level on the Mac version. Id like to play the Atari version but dont see a way to select a starting level. Is there a version out there that allows this on the 8bit? Im also curious is anyone back in the day completed all the levels start to finish in 1 sitting. Im not sure its possible with some of the 'luck' required on a few of them.

The one in the picture is the original release label - I purchased HH2 when it first came out - the label was changed shortly after. I wonder if sdamon's cart is my old one

I just 'chested' all of Sosaria - you had to leave a few 'pens' for where the monsters could generate though

Confirmed - Atari released a dog of a Dig Dug version that was more colorful but terrible game play. It appears the 5200 version was quickly ported to the 800 and released as an update. Wonder if that was the first production 'update' that ever happened.

Play Space Invaders without shields and it works on the #1 Cart.

Games that use Apple II-style artifacting for colors
Goochman replied to AlecRob's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
You can get brown, blue, white, green, purple and yellow. I produced some basic games that used these. Having said that only blue, brown and white can be placed wherever you want. Purple and Yellow require a staggered pattern which cant be placed wherever you want. In the attached picture you cant see it well due to emulation but the 'storm' cloud lightening bolt was yellow on my Atari 800. It was prob more a washed out yellow, but you could see it. You can also see the trees show some green in them. Dont ask me how I got this to work - I really screwed around with patterns back in the day.
