  1. I have a video on facebook, but I can't get it to post on here for some reason. Below, is a picture of the two Hallmark ones, alongside a clay one I made back in '83. Damned close in size.
  2. I'm not sure how rare it is(I don't know of a source for the info) but I have an unopened(factory sealed) copy of Weird Dreams for the Commodore 64.
  3. I have Lunar Lander, and while you get more points for landing on the bonus areas, I like landing on the mountain peaks, and non-level ground. Just for the added challenge.
  4. I got a similar shirt a few weeks ago. It had the joystick, rather than the paddle. I've had some people ask me, "So.... do you actually HAVE an Atari?" I reply with, "An? No. I have 4 of them." Then run down my list.... throw in some rare game titles.... get a smug kinda look, and as Jay(Jason Mewes) would do.... "Yeah!"
  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7J80KD4BG7Mhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7J80KD4BG7M I'm not going to vote... because I love both Mario games, and Half Life. I bought Half Life 2, but it's not as fun as Half Life. The original is totally badass.
  6. Thanks for the clue! I'll have to check my local Walgreens again. I looked a week ago, and couldn't find it. This could be why.
  7. I'm not sure how much interest it would generate, but I could point you at a few publishers. I've got 1 book published, and I'm working on more. I went with a "Print on Demand" company the first time around. That requires an initial investment.
  8. Chapter 2 His name was Remo, and he just won a stuffed bee.... (Remo, if you don't get that....)
  9. It's in there and once you find out how to unlock it, you'll know it's there. Gamefaqs has the information on how to get it, if it gets too bothersome to find, but Rare made unlocking it just as tedious as the rest of the game (though it was still worth unlocking). I'm sure it's worth unlocking, but I can't seem to get much done on DK64. I was quite disappointed with the game. I'm considering hiring a 10 year old to do it for me... but I doubt I could find one that would bother with such an "old" game. I'm still thinking about getting the 101 in 1, if I can find it. I saw the 50 in 1, and it looked quite cheezy. I'll pass on that one, but I'm still hunting for the 101.
  10. POOP! CRAP!! DAMMIT!!!! (I don't have it) But on the other hand, the game is fun.
  11. Got mine in the mail today. Scored over 11,000 on my second game. Definitely an enjoyable game. Are there any secrets we should know about?
  12. My local Walgreens only has the 50 in 1 controller... I'm gonna go check CVS, and maybe WalMart. I want one of these...but it sucks not being able to find one. Please tell me that the version of Donkey Kong on there is close enough to the arcade version that I won't be able to tell the difference. I have Donkey Kong 64... which allegedly has the arcade version of DK in it... but I can't unlock it. I don't particularly like DK64, TBH.... but I'd like to play the port of the original on it.
  13. My late wife bought me that hat at Oktoberfest in Munich Germany back in 2005. I have a picture of a Scottsman trying to get a drink out of it. It's a keg with a wooden tap on the front.
  14. Man.... I saw Gauntlet and got excited. It's not the original arcade game..... which is all I'm interested in.
  15. Curt, you are pure awesomeness!!!
  16. Now I want to dig the landfill up... I really want to see an assembly line of zombies dressed like it's 1983 making E.T. cartridges! I have pictures and video of that.... but I can't upload it right now. I know money is tight, but if someone could hook me up with a few bucks, I can get some file hosting for the proof of it all.
  17. I played both of them, fairly extensively at the pizza place that served as my kitchen while I was "living" at the pool hall. I thought '84 was fun. Not as challenging as the original.... but it was some easy entertainment.
  18. This was posted on a video game forum I am on... and thought you guys might enjoy it.
  19. I have the album upstairs, and a 10.2 megapixel digital camera. My album cover is in pretty good shape(IIRC)... gimme a little bit and I'll attach some pics. Edit: Not as lucky as I thought.... the cover has suffered some mishapse, although it is intact. I'll need to get a tripod to be able to get decent pics. The insert with the patterns is in very good shape, but was printed on glossy paper, which makes it a royal pain to get a clear picture of.
  20. I was really hoping that Skyfox existed.... because there was a picture on the 7800 box of it. I love that game!
  21. It's not the economy, but a home reduction/relocation is making me put these up for sale. I have a Lunar Lander(original) which currently needs a new Potentiometer on the throttle control. I may be able to replace that to make it fully functional again. The trick is finding one, since Atari used a non-standard pot. I have some pictures posted of it in the Lunar Lander thread, it's in pretty good shape considering it's age and history. Once I can get to it, I'll get newer pictures of the whole cab. The coin door partially fell off, but I'm going to fix that this weekend. I have the manual for it, but I'm not sure where it is. The other is an Allied Paddle Battle cab. It has the motherboard, which I was told was the working one. Unfortunately, the previous owner thought he had given me the non-working one, so my dumb ass cut the tv out of it and set it out for trash. He never claimed the motherboard, and I've never been able to replace the TV. The machine is in great shape. I used it for my Atari back in the day... it gave a better feel to some of the arcade ports. I'll also get pics of this one up. I am located just outside the N.E. Corner of Baltimore City, in MD. I hate to say it, but shipping is probably out of the question. I have no way to get them anywhere, nor the means of boxing them up. I'm not looking to get a specific amount for them.... nor an exhorborant one.
