  1. I used to work for FedEx ground...... you better pack that thing good! Use a roll of bubblewrap, and put it inside of a Maytag Dryer box! (Honestly, I would love to get that.....simply because it's got Skramble!!)
  2. My fault on the "working properly" issue. I thought it was a Joystick game. The thought of using the paddles didn't even pass nearby my head. Colour me the dumbass.
  3. Anyone try it on a 7800? I did, and it doesn't seem to work properly. I haven't tried it on the 2600 yet....had some personal problems. I'll get to that later this week...but I figure it works fine on the 2600.
  4. I don't deal with Worst Buy(got ripped off by them a few years ago...found out I wasn't unique.) I do appreciate the info, though!! Is there a database somewhere that lists all of the available PnPs? I check the local WalMarts every week or two, but nothing new there except Dora the Explora, Star Wars, and 3000 versions of Pac Man.
  5. Fortress Forever Does anyone here play it? Version 2.0 has been released, and it just keeps getting better.
  6. I haven't seen a Space Invaders stick anywhere....... where can this be aquired? Also, is the Taito stick the same thing?
  7. Should we start a list of who got which number? I got #16.
  8. Well, you could always ask one of us to buy it for you.... I don't mind shipping internationally. At least the seller isn't bumping the shipping price through the roof. $4.75 for priority shipping isn't bad.
  9. I have heard some people say their atari's don't work on their hdtv's but I personally only own hdtv's and all of my systems work fine on all of them. They look a little weird in widescreen at first but you will get used to it. As for the tv's that come out after this year I'm not sure if any of them will still have ntsc tuners. We might all have to get a/v mods after that or go thru the vcr. You mean the HDTV stretches the video, rather than put black bars on the sides?! WTF is that?!
  10. If you find anything else...keep us informed. I can't pick up, but I could make it worth your while to ship.
  11. This information couldn't be more wrong. Those people that run ads in the paper will rip you off 100% guaranteed. I'm sure there are plenty of rip-off coin stores too but if you find one that has been in business for awhile they will probably treat you fairly. I believe you misunderstood what I meant. The ones I am refering to are not "fly-by-night" rip off artists. I see a few reputable dealers doing this in my area. They do it twice a year, usually around the time coin collecting conventions are in town. Always check the reputation of any dealer you do business with. It's simple common sense.
  12. I expect some carts in the mail within the next few days. The ones I ordered here(in this thead), and the Brokeback cart. I can't wait. WOOOHOOO!!!
  13. Not coming, but why would you charge shipping if someone were to pay via paypal...and were coming to pick up? I'd think if someone were going this route, both you and they would save some cash.
  14. There's nothing illegal about it, but unless silver dollars are in really bad shape their collector's value as silver dollars exceeds the worth of the metal contained therein. That is especially true given that silver-bearing alloys are generally worth less than the value of the pure silver that could be extracted. Quoted For Truth!
  15. If you don't mind going with a newer(late 80's/early 90's).... A.P.B. was always fun to play.
  16. There are also conventions that travel around. You'll need a good sized truck, though.
  17. At least the seller isn't lying: I read "Homebrew". It's getting alot of attention, though. I wonder how many were made, and how good the game is.
  18. Best I've been able to find is a couple of 5's in the wild. I don't count the recent purchases on here as "in the wild".....but I might have to go out looking this weekend. Just for the hell of it.
  19. Please add my name to the "potentially interested parties" list. I've been collecting coins(mostly circulated...I'm not rich) for a long time. Beware of some coin shops, though. Some of them(the ones that look like junk-shops, with crap piled high and hardly anywhere to walk) will barely give you double the face value....if even that. Check your local newspapers, I often see large ads for "We buy coins, bills, jewelry"...and while they are usually at large store locations, chances are you will get a better price. I have a nice load of silver pieces, mostly quarters and half-dollars. I also have a couple of Morgan Dollars that are in SWEET condition(uncirculated! WOOT!)...but I don't plan on parting with any of mine. I also have a nice collection of foreign money.
  20. This is one of those sales that I wish happened 2 months from now....when I have money for more. I might as well explain the whole thing....since just the SJB doesn't make sense otherwise. I play an online game called Team Fortress Classic. I mainly play on a server called Drippy's 2Fort(D2F). My handle is Iggy(short for Ignorant Florist). A few years back, me and this other guy started a small group of people who played insanely. Meaning, rather unconventionally. We were dubbed, the "Straight Jacket Brigade", cuz everyone thought we were nuts. So, we created th *SJB tag to go with it.
  21. I'd have to think that it would have happened sooner. If for no other reason than for lower budget companies(and fly-by-night companies) to exploit the power of the 7800, without paying for the priviledge. The term "Psuedo-Pirates" would have been coined in there, somewhere.
  22. Oddly enough, most forums prefer the revivification of an old thread, rather than the creation of a new one. There should be fixed rules throughout the entire interweb, that all must abide by.
