  1. instead of calling the sine function you create an array containing the preclalculated values simple example would be a multiplication table for multiplying by 2 [2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16…] so 1x2 would be in position 1, 2x2 would be in position 2, etc not a lot of value for multiplication but valuable for complex math like sin, etc
  2. unless you are doing programming using trig or logarithms you shouldn’t need them. they are pretty slow in basic, usually it’s better to use lookup tables. https://www.quora.com/What-do-cos-sin-tan-and-log-mean
  3. He is sending them in batches based on member number. He updates this thread with the numbers he has done. Please be patient and read the thread. Each interruption slows him down
  4. Shouldn’t it be digital only if it was meant for play cable? 😎
  5. Thanks for the info about the manual
  6. Are the missing elements mentioned in the manual?
  7. I think you are supposed to post ebay auctions in auction central
  8. I don’t think he will be getting them. tried to get me to deliver them, now wants to take the bus. tried to explain that i’m giving them away for free to make it hassle free for me. i don’t think trying to take a couple hundred pounds of games on the bus will work. these are still available
  9. Doing some clean up. I have 9 boxes of handheld games. First photo shows 8 of the boxes, I forgot about the 9th when I took that picture! The other pictures are closer up pictures of the boxes. Rules: Local pickup only, no I will not ship. I'm near Sacramento, CA It's all or nothing, you must take all boxes. No returns Some of the games work, some probably don't. Very random mix of games. There are a lot of games! These games are 100% free, but if you happen to have anything you want to get rid of you could drop it off NOT REQUIRED!!! things of interest: Commodore stuff pre-Amiga, disk, cart, hardware, software, manuals, books, etc. Working or not. Storage boxes for 5 1/4 disks. Close up pictures.
  10. I believe there is a fixed version. Might be in an AA thread, try searching.
  11. i responded to the email the other day and didn’t hear back. just wanted to verify i do not need to do anything as i prepaid back in 2016. thank, charles
  12. you are correct, someone on FB posted a picture and you can read it through the sticker
  13. controller, power supply, phoenix and cartridge sold separately.
  14. It sold out at Amazon a long time ago https://www.amazon.com/C64-not-machine-specific/dp/B08GMTJYXJ/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=commodore+maxi&qid=1631397625&sr=8-5
  15. Hey Milli, Just ordered Turmoil 2022. I noticed that you poll only allows 1 choice, since it's radio buttons.
  16. maybe $20-$40, maybe less. Based on everything untested and nasty dirty, so you have to consider everything not working and no games. One of the adam controllers looked like it has been sitting under water, and one controller wire possible eaten through by mice or rats you tend to assume that it was poorly treated. Also, pictures seem to be selective, no complete picture of the CV. Might be other issues that would be obvious.
  17. My guess would be that they want you to make a copy of the disk and work with it so not to erase or update any files on the original disk.
  18. thanks for the write up, great job! i’ve never tried my printer, no paper. The last time i used a thermal printer was the 40 column printer i had for my c64 used for my pascal listing in JC.
  19. A lot not coming out also. Some cars can’t be built. Trying to buy a computer is a challenge. So there are electronic shortage. People I talk to who are in the industry have said that $1 part they normally buy can only be bought on the grey market for $5.
  20. you need to get sound from c88
