lord of the dungeon would have been the first battery backed cartridge if it had been released bitd. digital press released it many years ago http://www.digitpress.com/reviews/lordofdungeon_2.htm colecotorvision released a version a few years ago that replaced the battery backed saves with a chip that saves state.

really schoolyard bullying? That’s actually offensive to anyone who has suffered it. Who is being hurt? You don’t have to join, just move on and let others enjoy. also, for the price you get a boat load of roms, so there is that. the club isn’t much different than buying a mystery box, or many other things that you don’t know what you are getting till you purchase and receive the item. also, i believe that collectorvision will help you sell the game if you aren’t happy. i’m might be making that up, but usually some one in the forums will buy. and you still get the roms and entry into the contest. i don’t like using the word, but you are sounding a little entitled. this is why we can’t have nice things

@schnuth did you clean the cartridge connector? worked for the gargled issues i had. other carts worked fine with the dirty connection but concerto had some issues

@Shawn Did you try putting the cpu in another machine to see if the other machine had the same issues?

So the location did move. I did a good cleaning of the connector and now it reports as good! So after getting it working on all 3 of my machines I then installed a pokey. The test do not show the pokey, but ballblazer has sound as does bentley bear. So I believe that means the pokey is working? Just the test didn't recognize the chip? Also, is it common to have a capacitor conned to a couple of the pokey pins? I removed it to get it to fit, but can reattach if there is a good reason for it to be there. Pulled from a 5200 MB I had lying around. thanks!
