Does that mean you are limited to playing horse shoes and tennis?
No horseshoes:(. They don’t let me join in any reindeer games ever since the Jarts incident.

There is Simons’ basic on cart. It’s an original back in the day release. I can’t speak to it but you might want to take a look. I guess they also released an extension to it on disk.

you might want to look at something like this

I'm not super worried about it, if you hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't have noticed and would have enjoyed the game
I also have second phoenix, different run that I can try. Just haven't found it yet, just recently moved and still unpacking. I also have original CVs and SGMs.
Back in the day things like this happened, when Intellivision released the INTV II they added changes to break Coleco INTV carts, they also broke compatibility with a couple of their games. -

Just reinstalled the CV core and used a different SD card just in case. Made no difference. Still no sound when firing. Then I played my cart of Arabian from Team Pixelboy to see if I’m going mad and it’s not just the Opcode games. Played perfectly fine. No sound issues whatsoever.
There MUST be something about the way Opcode are programming their games that’s different which my Phoenix doesn’t like.
Can someone else who has a Phoenix and Moon Cresta post a video of them playing the game to prove it works for them?
Can a Collectorvision or Team Pixelboy programmer compare notes with Opcode? That’s a big ask I suppose but I’m desperate. It just doesn’t make any friggin’ sense!
I don't have sound when I shoot either on my phoenix, I didn't know it was supposed to make a sound. I don't know that reaching out to the Collectorvision team will be helpful at this point. They just posted a help wanted ad on facebook.

just kidding, I'm fine with being patient. I've ordered from collectorvision for many years, and have never had an issue.- 1

boolean can be true or false but it can also be numeric. zero =true, negative =false. different language use different numeric values. some may use 0 and 1 some may use non negative = true, negative = false. i’ve never seen his book or the intv basic language so i don’t know, but either his book or the basic docs should have it documented.
-
Total guess as I don’t program on intv but looks like first loop basically loops while c is true, so cont1 must be a true value which could be any non negative value possibly, guessing based on second example it defaults to 0. So in one when controller is moved it sets c to a non true value and in second example it sets it to non zero value.

I would suggest you look into something like this:

so it sounds like side a is corrupted. bummer. Maybe someone who live in your country and nearby can create a new disk for you, I'm guess all the games are available on the internet somewhere. Even if it cost a few dollars for the disk and postage that wouldn't be terrible. Though you would probably be better off getting on the drive alternatives pi1541, etc (then you could make your own disk) or a flash cart solution back bit, kung fu flash, easyflash 3 etc.
good luck!

okay, as far as I could tell you only commented that you did load"*",8,1 not the load"$"
and you tried both sides? -
So now the disk fits? what did you do different?
Your attached mov doesn't seem to work.
@Virtualsky suggested you try the directory command, I don't see that you tried it. So I think that is the next logic step, try the directory command on both sides and attach pictures of the screen. Directions previously mentioned:
"type LOAD "$",8 and then, if that loads successfully, enter LIST to se a listing of the disk drive"- 1

Well yeah HOT DAMMID, this is what i did realized afterwards, and theres no way in hell to rectifie this, but the other problem is that there were sooo many revisions of the C64 diskdrives whether it’s from commodore itself or from it’s competitors with their clone variations of it,each with their own features and whether they are called 1541,1540, or 4115 or whatever they called them, it can become confusing overtimes,
and that’s why am screaming for an unlimited edit feature on this site to rectifie mistakes,it’s about time.
It's not unlimited, but if you became a subscriber you can edit for 30 days. If it's so important that you would scream, then I guess it would be worth it to pay for the feature

Good luck with the sale. I have one to refurbish this winter. Can umyou share what you used for belt and foam replacements. Also, can you share the tape archives? Though I think I have about 20 tapes
