Just an FYI, looks like a version is also being developed for the CV and A2600. @cmadruga are you involved with them?

He listed various reasons he's not doing that in previous posts.
That being said, I too am really interested as I'd love to have a master system for both SMS and Coleco development.
I wonder if a developer like @Digital Fluff might be able to produce it for them?

If the 4066 continues to be an issues, and you can't come to a solution you might want to consider optocouplers. I used PC847 4x OptoCouplers in my project

seems like you have been trying to get a price for awhile. maybe nobody sells, so possibly the only way to find out is put it up on ebay and see what it sells for.

looks like the most recent sale of a copy, don't know if it was numbered was $15, though not sure if that was boxed or for the box. maybe the cart was 41.

did that come out before or after this version? There are at least 3 or 4 different releases

depends on the drive mechanism

curious, why do you want to eliminate the knock? It supposed to do that, and it's that vintage feel. Mine from back in the day did a lot of knocking every day for many years and never had an issue.

looks like 1-8 ounces is the same shipping cost, so just sending the PCB doesn't change the cost.

Has anyone in the USA tried to do a return to get a replacement?
I packed up the cart as light as possible, and it came to 3.6 ounces. The cheapest the post office can ship it is via 1st class for $20, but they told me if I want to send it 1st class I need a bigger envelope for all the forms they have to attach. Which will increase the weight and the cost
And this was setting the value a $1.00, they wouldn't let me do zero.
Plus they said a new rule went into affect March 1st that would cause @Digital Fluff to have to pay to receive it!
Shipping sucks
I was wondering if just sending the PCB without the case would be an option. An just get a pcb and label returned.
Also, is there a battery in the cartridge? They asked about that. If there is, then it probably need to be removed to ship using USPS.
Wanted to see if there were any other suggestions before I try shipping again.- 1

try without controllers plugged in, see what happens. Could be the controllers, but probably the chips that handle the controllers.

I wonder if the 4 empty spaces in the upper right of the DM20 can be used for ram or something else?
never mind, looked at the link. I guess it can!

FYI apparently they have resolved the “Phoenix” issue and are about to open up orders again and will allow existing owners to send in their carts for the updated version
(this is according to their Facebook post)
can you share the link to FB?

I see it ship in May. I'm moving end of May. What is the best way to order so I can have shipped to my new address in June? Can you hold off on shipping if I preorder? thanks

Well lessons learned. 😔 while laying out the case, I thought, cosmetically speaking it would be nice to have the USB and DB9 cables coming in one side with the controller on the other. The only issue this caused was the strain relief that was on the DB9 was too fat for the case and would have to be cut off, no problem. Well yes problem, it turns out the wires in this cable are extremely fine, and do not want to cooperate. In hindsight I knew this from the prototype, but told myself after a few it would get easier... It didn't. The first 12 will be the way I designed them since the cases are nearly done, but after that I am going to move the cable entrance to the other side where the strain relief and pre-tinned wires will fit. Just when I thought I was done tinkering with this box.
yes, I have dealt with those thin wire also. PITA!

they'll need to be changed via the rom2bin.exe program available in the jzintv emulator.
Has anyone tried to download the jzintv emulator recently. I went to download it from: spatula-city.org and I get blocked telling me the site is unsafe and there are trojans. If I click continue to site then I get more warnings.

@the1hatman cool, glad they work for him!
