Thanks,
Yeah I hadn't added my name to the this thread, sorry. Thursday and Friday and part of today I was busy dealing with credit card fraud, sometimes real life is more important that VGs. Yeah, I said it
. Someone was using my credit card on paypal, yahoo wallet, and who knows where else. Tons of fun! -
I'm hoping he will confirm his order (for an NTSC cart, I assume). Same goes for you, NIAD.
PixelBoy... an NTSC cart will do the trick very nicely. Thank You!
On a side note, if anyone is looking to still purchase a GhostBlaster cart (NTSC), I would be willing to sell my slot for a considerable sum of money!
I thought I was on the list since I got a confirmation from hardhat on 12/19

I looked over this forum thread carefully, and I came up with the following list:
Ikrananka (PAL cart)
RelliK111 (PAL + NTSC carts)
AtariBrian (NTSC cart)
Darrin9999 (NTSC cart)
harlock76 (NTSC cart)
san-d-2000 (NTSC cart)
Yurkie (NTSC cart)
bennybingo (NTSC cart)
retroillucid (NTSC cart)
NIAD (NTSC cart?)
Brett McLean (NTSC cart?)
Now is this list correct, and am I missing anyone? I hope not, because we're already at 10 NTSCs and 2 PALs.
I'm not sure Brett McLean should be in the list. I'm hoping he will confirm his order (for an NTSC cart, I assume). Same goes for you, NIAD.
I thought I originally asked to be on the list, if there's room please add me, if not my loss

Received mine today also, haven't had a chance to give them a try yet. Got 2 intelliviision and 3 colecovision games today.
-
I've had one ever since they were first released.
-
I wonder if the bios was dumped and copied to an eprom if it would work in a production CV?
-
-
If it's release as a cart, I would also be interested.
-
I ordered my copies a few weeks ago, I believe they should be arriving in the next day or so.
-
Received mine today. Looks great, was a little nervous about folding the edge and such, but turned out great. Nice and sturdy. Thanks!

OK, I moved "YOU DIED." to the top of the screen and raised the minimum height that the food can go to. Also, and I want you to tell me your honest opinion on this: I made the game go faster after each "GETTING FATTER" message. I can't seem to get above 75 calories if I put this in. Does it kill the fun of trying to get over 100 because I made it next to impossible, or is it a logical step for getting further in the game?
Hi, haven't had a chance to play the game, but based on your last post I had a comment. Could you have any easy version and a hard version of the game, and the hard version would get faster after each "GETTING FATTER" message?

LOL, i guess you are right. Maybe im thinking of boxed ones.
Here is a loose one that sold for 15.00 + 11.00 shipping.
That was parts only, not working no PS.

Relax and take care of yourself.

congrats to the winner!

PIcked up a complete boxed copy of slam dunk yesterday, probably spent to much? $25, but first time I've seen one in the wild.

would a PC power supply from an external scsi cd/HD enclose work? I picked up a couple today for $.99 each and they have PC power connectors, so I wonder if they supply the correct voltage and amperage? The actual ps in internal on a pcb.

I have not tried homebrews on my 7800 - - are you referring to 7800 'brews, or 2600, and which ones? There is indeed a LONG history of various 2600 games not working with the 7800. Some have to do with the placement of certain resistors and capacitors, which can be fixed and compatibility restored (DECATHALON, SPACE SHUTTLE, etc.) and some have to do with incompatibilities with the "late model" 2600 TIA chips used in the 7800, such as KOOL-AID MAN!
Don't know about 7800 compatibility, tho . . .
Games that don't work for me:
Space Duel, Super Pac-Man, Jr. Pac-Man, and Pac-Man collection
-
Don't want to hijack the thread but has anyone had an issue with some home-brews not working with the LH7800 video mod? A few games I have don't work on my longhorn 7800 but work on others.

In my original post I also added a bunch more from amazon that are under $50. It depends on what you want, cheapest way is with an internal card, most of them handle video, composite, and rf, so most everything you would want. I had tried usb devices in the past, never happy with them. Also, the nice thing about the internal ones with the three different inputs is most of them will also work with PAL, so you can use your PAL systems to play games or record videos.

I use a TV card in my mac that has s-video, composite, and RF inputs. Cost about $100. If you have a pc you could probably use something like this:

or here are a bunch on amazon:

sounds good

Here's another hack that was link on the page, though not obvious. It uses 4 buttons and gates to get the 8 directions, and piggybacks to the original joystick for number pad.

Is this of any help? Scroll down to controller:

finding an 8 direction JS is easy and cheap, and here is some info on the controller, don't know if it will help:

You'd need the ecs, and a modem. The software would come on cassette, but don't forget to have a cartridge in the slot otherwise your ecs won't boot properly.
