  1. I believe a few were made and sold at the show. I was the first name on his interest list at the show. He contacted me and is working on build one for me. He's trying to catch up on things after the show. I know I will getting one sometime in the near future, and I'm sure anyone else who wants one will have the opportunity in the near future. I think patients is the key.
  2. I won't have felt right about removing the label and putting it on a different cart. I did have a picture of the board in the auction. I'm not complaining about the amount it sold for, yes I would have been happy with more. I'm more concerned with. 1. Are we going to have to start having proof that games we own or sell are legitimate? We may have to start having them graded and certified. 2. I don't believe this is what happened, but what if someone thinks that by raising concerns about a game they may be able to scare off sellers and get a game for cheaper. 3. Bummer for everyone who paid a lot more for this game recently, as the value may have just taken a large drop in value. Also, I believe in a year they can start selling more copies, the 30 was limited to a 2 year agreement I believe. Maybe the sound will be fixed when they start selling them again. I didn't buy the game to sell it, I just really didn't care for it so I figured I would sell it and buy something else.
  3. yep, I was surprised it went for that much. I think the concerns about whether it was real or not, I received about 10 question on ebay regarding it's authenticity and the 'dog bite' detracted from it.
  4. How is it different from the completed autographed version released in 2000? 60 autographed copies were released.
  5. not a dog bite. that's the way it was when I bought it in Vegas. sometime before I got it someone over tightened the screw that holds it together, probably whoever assembled the blix cart.

  7. So, from the last several posts it sounds like the BLIX currently on ebay is the only one that can be confirmed as legitimate. Feel sorry for all of the people who spent a lot of money on something that might be fake. Sounds like going forward all homebrews will need to come with a certificate of authenticity, or something to confirm the pedigree. I've updated my auction, hopefully people will believe it's legitimate.
  8. looks like another one up for sale. anyone keeping track of how many have changed hands?
  9. I Hope to try and pick one up at PRGE. May be tough though as I have a booth, and I'm the only one working the booth.
  10. I'll be there again. Not sure if I will have a time for a meetup
  11. Game looks cool based on the image. Wonder if you could change the color of the bombs? I'm color blind so I can barely see them, I would think others might have the same issue.
  12. thanks! Charles Dysert evg2000 Northern California
  13. this statement bothers me from the indiegogo campaign: Unprecedented Flexibility At $3,800,000—less than twice our minimum goal—we increase the size of our FPGA, making RETRO VGS the first video game system capable of recreating classic systems through reshaping its own hardware! Maybe I'm reading it incorrectly, but to me is seems that you don't get the classics unless they get almost twice the money.
  14. go to : http://opcodegames.com/ and on the left side under coming soon select donkey kong, is this more what you are hoping for?
  15. Pictures or it didn't happen! JK Congrats to the two of you.
  16. looks great, I'll keep an eye out for the new thread so I can order.
  17. is it a cat simulator game, and there is a log for a scratching post?
  18. to make it even more exclusive, why not add original CGE Christmas Carol with the fatal bug. I've heard there are a few out there still.
