I upgraded the sprite of Popeye to look as close as I could to the Colecovision version! :-) Popeye (F4 Conversion) Batari - Copy.bin -
I found where the colors are at for the top buildings in Level 1, and 2, But had difficulty in searching for the yellow color in the buildings, and will search for the white letters that spell out POPEYE tomorrow!

Looks great I like the Dark Purple for the background for level 3, The purple I picked was too light!

Here is my hack of Popeye for the FBP, I used the bankswitch version, and changed the background color in the third level! :-) Popeye Arcade ( FBP ).bin

Changed the Background color of Level 3, Level 1, and 2 Background color is still black! :-) PS I tried to match the background color as close as I could to the Original Arcade version

WOW Kevin I love what you have done with this game, I like the more cleaner ones, I am not familiar with Bankswitching, could some one explain it to me? I love how it's looking more and more like the original arcade game, But with atari's programing, we are not able to have multiple colors for the playfield, But I am good with the single color levels! :-)

I tested my game hacks of Escape From Hoth, Dark Empire, Star Trek 2, Star Trek 3, they all work perfectly, I didn't use the programs mentioned to format my SD card, it was a SD card from my camera that was formatted from my camera!

The max the AFP will hold is a 8GB SD Card, that might be why it's not working, It says it in the instructions

So here is my final version of Popeye for the Atari 2600, I am so happy the way it turned out, I even added brick detail to the steps in level 2, and changed the X's that olive throws in level 3 to an " H " Popeye Arcade.bin

Hey Arenafoot if you are on the same level as Bluto, and your near the ladder, get on the ladder half way, and he will jump down, works all the time! LOL
