As a kid, it was Lord of the Rings for me. Typically it wasn't released The only other one I got really excited about was Death Star Battle, which is pretty average gaming.

That's such a RELIEF that it arrived!

Hard to say really - I absolutely love the homebrew & repro stuff that I managed to acquire. Out of the old lists of games? It's a 50/50 split between the CIB copies of Oink! & No Escape (the PAL versions of these are fairly unusual) I waited a few years to own these & the games are great to play

I've dealt with a few Aus traders & can say that they are excellent sellers & don't charge a fortune for shipping either. I think the longest I've ever waited for games to arrive from Australia was a mere 7 days - much faster than many items I've bought from UK traders! So far I haven't found any issues with compatability.

I must admit that I missed the incorrect font use - something did strike me as odd but I couldn't put my finger on it. I really like the artwork though & the use of strong colours does add an authentic flavour to the presentation.

I'm a big fan of the 'classics' games, both Checkers games, Bridge, Othello, Backgammon (I suck at this), Video Chess etc., etc. all superbly entertaining & one of the most overlooked genres IMO.

I'm pleased to see that additional runs of SC will be made if demand is high enough, though it would be nice to get a copy signed by Bob Polaro

If we're talking car racing games, Enduro, but any type of racing? Then it has to be Sky Jinks

The maze would begin as being symmetrical but allowing the monsters to 'eat' parts of the maze would remove the symmetry. I suppose the easiest way to get around that would be to simply not include that feature. Spent more time looking through some coin-op sites & came across a few more games that might port well to the 2600. Any thoughts about 'Domino' & 'Timber'?

That's the bugger! I was thinking that to create Pengo with fx & soundtrack closer to the arcade, would it be necessary to do a Pitfall II, i.e. dedicated soundchip?
