How "forgiving" are you on homebrews/proto release
Osmeroid replied to Cassidy Nolen's topic in Atari 2600
I hope that I don't disappoint! -
Only 38 more days left before Philly. Looking forward to this feels like waiting for New Year with compulsory Atari/gaming
-
I only have one copy of each of Solar Storm & Quickstep. @MMF - I see that you don't have Subterranea. If you have no objections to PAL carts, I should be able to secure a copy of this for you, gratis. I can give it to you at PC4 if you're going.
-
Imagic certainly had the best packaging, those mirror-effect boxes (Oooh! Shiney!!!) with the (typically) bizarre artwork were really eye-catching. Best Imagic games have to be Quickstep & Solar Storm

Thanks Eckhard! Time to go shopping methinks!!

This year's box & artwork will be much more polished  -
Which Activision game designer had the worst haircut?
Osmeroid replied to Mind Master's topic in Atari 2600
Worst haircut has got to be David Crane - nothin' beats that 'basin haricut' Best beardy type, Steve Cartwright. -
Frostbite Video Checkers or Checkers (either would do) Solar Fox If I was lucky & could have a 4th., I'd add Pengo.
-
@Eckhard - Do you konw if it's a general release throughout Europe? Still haven't seen any in the UK yet
-
Hopefully, I will give my trans-Atlantic review of PC4 to AI soon too.

There is a Lynx convention being discussed, probably held in either Birmingham or London. I host one quite often at home, typically with 'six bud'(ies) of mine
-
Just give me a couple of years or so
-
Appreciate the info Matty! I don't suppose that anyone has a manual or some instructions for this?
-
Thanks Thomas! I probably would've been chasing my tail on that one for days
-
Nothing so far, lots of links that simply acknowledge that the game exists. I'll post anything that I find.
-
Thanks guys! I just did a bit of a search on it, found some mentions but no associated company or packaging. There were a few claims that it was an unreleased title.
-
I've been checking through some of the games I have on Stella & came across one labelled as 'Clown Down Town'. I couldn't find this in the AA 2600 section so I've no idea who the manufacturer etc. were. Anyone heard of this one before. Just curious

Notice the minus one (-1) rating!

Here's one for Kabbober, always try to take enemies in a vertical move, most of them tend to be quite vulnerable from this sort of attack.

2600 box styles.artwork mistakes in atari catalogs.check it!
Osmeroid replied to CincYnoTi's topic in Atari 2600
I've got some PB catalogues that have alternative box art too, Amidar, Jedi Arena & Super Cobra all had the artwork altered upon release. Apologies Al - I really will finish sending all those missing pages! -
Does the PP2 use UV to write to chips? I was wondering if the UV source lamp might have failed.
-
I didn't know Robot Tank had an ending. I've only made it as far as the night stages.

Excellent choices! I'd be tempted only to add a few more to this list: Sky Jinks Gyruss Frostbite
