I've always thought it'd work great if Sears/K-Mart did a mall type thing. Sears on one end and K-mart on the other and they can rent space for other stores! Our pathetic mall could sure use it!

Sears was always depressing to visit. The home rec area always looked the same as it did in the 70s.

It surprises me that Kmart still manages to hang on. The one I used to go to a lot when I was really young got converted to a "Sears Essentials" store and closed down years ago, and the last one in the vicinity is shutting its doors next month.
