The 5200 is funny like that: even with a "perfectly" calibrated console, some games still seem a little off.

Bounty Bob Strikes Back is especially bad in this regard: it registers left and right movements only at the very outside edges of the joystick's range, so if it's even a *little* bit off, you suddenly can't move in one direction.

Where have all the good controllers gone?

I guess it is just all the charm of the 5200 and old consoles in general. Maybe that's why we like them, they all have personalities. I admit, I've really been enjoying playing Pac Man and Ms. Pac Man on my 5200 the past couple days. A great way to pass time while I'm waiting for updates on my computer! Oh, I also dusted off one of my two working Vectrex units and have it set up now too. My original 4Jays unit has developed issues.
