    I am beginning to think I've been taken on a wild goose chase by a craigslist seller. Supposedly had an office trailer lined up and suddenly all has gone silent. Hmmm.

    Good news! The chassis board for my Battlezone monitor arrived today and the guy basically sent everything he could strip from the CRT frame along with it, including the high voltage components! :)

      Well, at least now I think I have all the parts to start working on the machine when I feel better. :)

    Went to the Doctor's today. Found out I have Bronchitis. Looks like a sick day might happen tomorow, but it's going around work.

      Well, I'm sitting at home watching Hunter on DVD. Manager wasn't happy, but I informed him that when it comes to bronchitis, I'm looking out for number one. I've had too many bouts of this to treat it lightly.

    Feeling really sick, but at least I have a monitor chassis for my Battlezone on he way! If I had been feeling up to the trip, I could have had the complete frame and a spare flyback along with it.

    Still hurting from moving Battlezone last night. Got my work cut out on that game. Ironically, Atari is now the dominant make in my little arcade collection. :)

    Got a headache from unloading a Battlezone in the pouring rain and fighting to get it up some steep stairs. Looks good, but I came to find out the chassis is gone from the monitor! Crap..

      I once bought a Battlezone at a local thrift store for $35. It didn't work (damn) but I got some great 80's Chuck E Cheese tokens out of it and it was in physically good shape. Good luck!

      Thanks. The guy thinks he found a chassis for mine and is willing to eat the cost of getting it and shipping it to me. Keeping my fingers crossed.

    What is it with some people on craigslist? I emailed a seller about some arcade games they had for sale a few days ago and no reply. Ad is still up, so tried again today, still no reply. If the games are sold, just tell me or at least delete the ad.

    Great, trying to buy an arcade game and my truck's alternator is taking a crap. >:(

      take the alternator apart. ive fixed several by replacing diodes or brushes. it just doesnt have to cost alot..

      I wonder how far a modern vehicle can go without an alternator. My parents' 87 Dodge van went a few hours on the interstate before we had to swap batteries, running nothing but ignition. But that was a carb, not fuel injection.

      My truck is an '81 and it appears to be the original alternator. Took it off today and the bearings are going out as well. Going to Autozone after work tomorrow to get a replacement. Looks like a $46 replacement.

      Closest thing to a sub game I have is an original Midway Sea Wolf machine. :-)

      Well, I am going to call the guy tomorrow. Biggest worry is the mountain and steep steps I have to get it up. It will go well with my Midway Sea Wolf though. :)

      I have an addiction to checking it daily. Most of the time its crappy, but occasionally cool stuff pops up. Like recently a Neo-Geo AES has been on there, up for a few weeks now. If the games weren't so crazy expensive I might bite. Recently a bunch of arcade machines have been on as well, including a very tempting MAME cabinet, but since I'd have no where to put it I just ignored it. :(

      I live in Dover, OH. There have been several arcade games appearing and disappearing around Columbus lately. That's about 2 hours from me, but some of those games would be worth it! :)
