I am having the exact same problems with my mod. So please keep up the good work!

Yes, I sorta cracked the chip I took out so I can't put it back in. I tried all three plugs. The yellow gives waves, the white gives nothing but a black screen and the yellow gives waves.
Is there anyway to replace that chip I removed? I really don't want to buy another 7800. I knew I should have not messed with a good thing.

I got one of those av mods from 8bit domain. I am not too bad when it comes to soldering circuit boards, so the soldering job is decent. However when I plug in the video cable, the screen goes wobbly on me. I can see the title screen sort of, but the screen is going all over the place. Does anyone know how to fix this? IE is there a solder point responsible for this attribute or is the mod board bad? Plugging in that 4 pin adapter seems to do nothing, ie the screen looks the same before and after I plug it in. I emailed 8bit, but was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem and a fix.
Thanks

PM sent!
Christmas is over and 2006 is on our doorstep. And it wants money. Guess what that means? Yup. Time to get rid of stuff. And I’ve still got quite a bit of stuff, so take a peek. But first, here’s the boilerplate:
[1] All prices are in US funds.
[2] I'm in Canada. Shipping abroad may take a little longer than you are accustomed to. Please be patient.
[3] I would prefer to ship only within the US and Canada, but will consider shipping outside North America -- be warned that shipping costs may be high on larger orders. PM me with your location and desired item(s) if you would like a shipping quote.
[4] Payment by PayPal only, please, except Canadians, who can also pay by Interac E-Mail Money Transfer if they prefer. Trades may also be considered.
[5] Everything is in the condition shown in the pictures which, despite my best efforts probably don't show perfect detail -- I tried to keep image size down (they are reduced from their original size) to keep file size and load times reasonable. Even so, some images are over 500k and 1600 pixels wide. I've provided thumbnails you can click on to view the full images, however. I'm not bothering to add descriptive comments (except in cases of missing or severely damaged labels or notable label variations) to each entry simply because I'm trying to avoid contracting carpal tunnel syndrome any earlier than absolutely necessary. If you want specific shots of something please PM me.
[6] Numbers in curly braces indicate the quantity available; if there is no number in curly braces, there's only one.
[7] First come, first served, in order to be fair. This will be cross-posted on two other forums.
[8] If I don't answer your PMs right away it's because I've been flooded with a mess of them and I need to sort out who sent what when and what they wanted. I will get back to you with a list of what is available from your list of requests.
And now we’ll greet 2006 with some cool stuff.
Hardware
Atari SC1224 Colour Monitor - [ $20.00 ]
The classic 12" colour monitor for the Atari ST. Image is bright and crisp, and all controls work perfectly. Weight will make this a lot of a bear to ship, but if you want the ST and need a monitor for it, you can combine this with the ST to help reduce the sticker stock on the shipping bill.

do you have the templates you used on publisher, and could you maybe post them?

No I haven't. I am really new at this whole thing. I am kinda in a learn mode reading this thread.
