Just wow!
In 25 years look when some idiot kids will destory 360s because they are "too old."
-
I would say a R7.
Then again the gameplay is meh (Ram It is better).
-
Do the AES memory cards save levels placement as well? For almost all the games I've played on the AES, you get the opportunity to save and the end of a level or upon game over.
In the end everything is game dependant.
MMM so my NGCD does the same thing.
I own 40 NGCD titles and I only save three things in the RAM.
More reasons why the Memory Card is not needed.

I do not know why Tempest would throw the neo geo forum members under the bus, I'm pretty sure he has done multiple cart transactions on there. The only time I've ever been ripped off in a classic gaming transaction was over on Neo-Geo.com. I'm a bit apprehensive when it comes to trusting strangers I don't know over on a board I've been ripped off on. Sorry if that offends anyone. I'm sure 99.99% of the people there are just fine, but still, once burned...
That being said, I've found someone who can do the job for me. I've seen his work, and if he can do to my Neo what he's done to a 2600, then I'm in good shape.
Tempest
Can you show us pictures when it's finish?

The collector in me is curious to know just how much those Japanese Saturns cost...JR
Loose Saturns goes for $10-$20.
Boxed for $40-$60 (depending on the model).
-
Gave away my loose US copy of Gunstar Heroes and got myself this:

$46 shipped from Hong Kong (no it's not a boot).
Packaging is so much better.

-
$50 on eBay...I've seen them go for $20-30 frequently and recently on eBay. Just keep on eye out.
I think they are essential since most Neo Geo games have friggen impossible difficulty levels!Do the AES memory cards save levels placement as well?
-
I would talk to the Neo-Geo forum member "Segasonicfan." I believe he does consolize MVSs.
If you can get FABombjoy to do it, then that would be cool. After all he modded my Vader VCS with Composite/S-Video.
-
My nearest used game store is terrible.
Here's why: Loose 32x without any cables for $60! Loose Outrun for the Genesis for $30! Do I need to explain more?
Flea Markets are always good to find some rare goodies (like the one in Daytona Beach, FL). If you really want to be lazy, you can do just about all of your gaming shopping on the internet.

To tell you the truth I would go for the import Saturn.
Just get the 1MB/4MB RAM carts and you're good to go (and also two Japanese controllers, not the terrible American one, yuck).
So many arcade perfect shmup ports (Batsugun, Battle Garegga, Radiant Silvergun) with plently of perfect Capcom ports.
You really can't go wrong with the import Saturn.
-
It's only a good idea to have one to save your high scores on the AES machine, then find a MVS machine that supports the memory card and save your high scores on that.
Like Blur said before, it's not worth it.
-
The Vader model.
I just don't know why really...
-
You'll be rewarded soon enough.
It's not for reward I do it. It's for a good friend and a good cause.
Not to mention it will get more copies of Gorf Classic to the Jag fans
who missed out on the first round.
What I mean Golf is that the three companies will accept it.
I hope this answers my comment's meaning.
-
$500-$1000 value?
Wow!

You'll be rewarded soon enough.

Would buy if I liked RPGs.
-
This would be really cool if you were able to add some voices in the cart.
-
This seller is so clueless.
-
I think the hardest part is to wait.
-
$1,900, damn!
For something like this I would order the fastest shipping possible with insurance, DC number, and other stuff to prove that the buyer receive the package.
When I order/sell stuff from overseas I would only do EMS (will always make it to its location, insurance, and you must sign the package in order to get it).
In the USA I use priority mail for games. Systems and stuff like that I use UPS five-day ground (I never lost anything from them).
Once again Curt I feel sorry for you, but Pay-Pal is just too useful for me.
Edit: Don't want to be mean Curt but why you want to transfer $1,900 by PayPal? To me that's waaay too much money for a company to tranfer funds to. Personally I would only go up to $500 max when I want to use PayPal (to buy/sell only to good people), but anything higher I would use Money Orders and Checks.

The VCS proves you only need one button and a joystick for some serious fun.
-
Just played the beta:
With some fine adjustments this could had been something.
-
Well for being the first vertical scrolling shooter I think it was OK.
I never played the beta so I have no comment.

Jaguar vs. 32X?
in Atari Jaguar
Posted
It gets even more deep than that. The Genesis was more popular in the Western markets than in Japan. The higher-ups at Sega of Japan were getting sick of tired of Sega of America making more money on the Genesis than them.
You can read more about it here: http://www.sega-16.com/Interview-%20Tom%20Kalinske.php
Virtual Fighter on the 32x is better than the Saturn version, but the port is not arcade perfect. The polygon count is lower on the 32x port than the Saturn version.
Star Wars Arcade, and T-MEK also had similar issues with Virtual Fighter (lower polygon count).
So in the end the 32x was just a mini-version of the Sega Model 1 arcade hardware.
Now the CoJag arcade hardware (Area 51) just got by with the harddrive. >.>
