For the Atari systems these are the best. 2600: My Golf 7800: Mean 18 Ultimate Golf Of course the more current games are better than these by far, but for ol'school, there isn't any better than these.

How do thrift stores price their games?
jpfalcon2003 replied to COMTARI's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
The store I go to Value Village sells all game carts $4.00,rare or not,all priced the same,as they are not game specialists,so,game carts are just aonther object to them, good for us though!,ive gotten carts that were worth 5-10 times even 20 times more than what they sell them for, just my experience! The stores here like flea markets in the New orleans areas here, I have only seen commons so far. Gave up on those. Really glad you scored well though. -
great find on silver gravitar.

We all have our own specialty fields. Mine is accounting. Someone that has computer knowledge may absolutely have no idea how to keep accounting records. It could work both ways. Not my field, and have no desire to learn it either.

I like Commando next of the three, but damn Commando is hard. Much easier on the 7800 I was also a fan of the arcade and NES versions, never played the 7800 version, gonna have to track one down. Get it because it is a must have. You won't be disappointed in the 7800 version. Sound is Excellent with the pokey chip in game too. I like it FAR better than the NES version too. This game can be picked up cheap if just cart only too. I'd say between $12.00-$15.00 for it, plus shipping. If you get this one, get Alien Brigade too. Just like it with far more details in graphics too. I have a copy of this game for trade or sale too.(Alien Brigade)

I have the Flashback 2 as well, and I think that game just truly sucks. I couldn't think of one thing positive to say about it. It just makes me get up and want to yell "2600 PAC-MAN ANYONE"!!!!!!

taking offers: Swordquest set and other goodies
jpfalcon2003 replied to RickHarrisMaine's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Are you taking any trades for the Snoopy one. I have some rare games for sale for the 2600 and 7800. Send me a list of anything you might need in that dept. I have stuff of equal value in trade for those. I can also send you the list of games I have that I'm selling and trading. I sold 2 today on here that I just posted last night, so reply quick before the good one's sell. Send me a PM back when you get a chance too. Thanks, jeff -
Sale is Pending until I receive payment on this one.

Got your PM. Sale is marked on the post and pending your response. It will be held for you till I hear from you.

The Multicarts would be still useful to us college students that don't major in computers or electronics field. I'm an accounting major and only know how to use a computer for school, type a paper, surf, e-mail, Im's, etc. Normal things. I'd still prefer to purchase a multicart or have someone make the games on one of those devices for me that I wouldn't know how to do. Thanks for the info though. Just wish it could help me.

Crossbow is excellent for the 7800. I have the complete set. Glad to have it and enjoy the lightgun on it. Get Alien Brigade and 7800 or 2600 Sentinel too, if you like this one. They are great too. The 2600 Crossbow also did a fine display on Graphics. I had that copy too. Graphics are 100% top notch on that one too, but no light gun support for it. You have to use the joystick. Much too difficult and impossible to beat. Had to get rid of it because of the lousy controls. Otherwise I would have kept that one. 2600 Sentinel however uses the lightgun for the 2600.

Be glad you missed it. I'd pass on that awful game if i were you and get a repro. The repro would be cheaper and at least you'll have saved money in the process. playing that game would be painful and torture enough for me. I'd recommend Pac-Man 2600 and E.T. over this one.

Don't feel bad. Sometimes things are beyond all our knowledge. I'm sure I'll feel the same way in the Accounting world when I get out of school. Just be proud of what you know and what you have accomplished. Besides, you are a HERO in all our eyes on here for the masterpieces you gave us. We'll always remeber you on here. My MOM and DAD think you are the greatest for giving them those games to play as well. They took the games from me (borrowed them.lol) and have been playing them since on their own 7800. They are well over 40 too. Imagine them at the T.V. playing those. It's such a wonderful site to see, that i'm not even angry that they stole my games to play. I jst go to Mom's and play it with them when i don't have school or work. The games have been keeping us home a little more from the city now that we have them too. (The Big Easy- New Orleans). I'm just over a half hour from N.O., but with gas being $2.79 a gallon here, it's expensive to drive into town everyday. Not only have the games brought us joy, they are saving us lots on gas too. Please keep us posted on all you new Pac-Man's to come. If you ever decide you're ready to do Super-Pac Man, Jr. Pac-Man, or Baby Pac-Man for the 7800, please let me know. I'll definitely be in for all three to make the collection fully complete. Thanks again for the great games, Jeff

PM sent about manuals

I would say the Strawberry Shortcake one is a little rare too because i never have seen it in the wild either. I have the others before though. Strawberry Shortcake isn't worth that much though. Just more rare than the regular commons.

That sounds like the sequel: Elevator Action Returns. Tempest You may be right. I have that game to play on my computer, but it has been a good while since I played it though. Can't remember for sure. I'll have to check it out for sure. Would be nice to have the sequel for the 7800 in a homebrew form since we have the original on 2600.
-
I would definitely pay top dollar for a completed version of this one too. i learned about the game at www.atariprotos.com.
-
Great to have you around and for you to share your find with us. Please let us know what they all turn out to be.
-
Did you check out the info on Mangia? What did you think of it?
-
True. I think it's okay for the labels to look exactly as the original, just as long as it has in tiny white letters above the original copyrights that it is a reproduction Cart. That way it can be cool to look like the real deal and see it is a duplicate at the same time. That's how the 2 repro's were that I had that I just sold today on here. I of course let them know in the post that it was repro's also.

This would be so cool on the 7800 to have as a homebrew.

2600-9s: who owns NTSC cakewalk, stronghold, ikari warriors
jpfalcon2003 replied to CincYnoTi's topic in Rarity Guide
Ikari Warriors NTSC Complete in box with only top of shrink wrap opened at top of box to get the game out to play. All in MINT condition. -
Probably not. I wouldn't get it anyhow. I don't think that game is impressive at all. I'd recommend a reproduction of this cart to anyone. It would be a hell of alot cheaper. It would be agony enough for me to play it in reproduction form and spend way less. I see this game as only a novelty game. I would hope someone dosen't really like it or would like to spend that much $$$ for such a poor game, when there are FAR better items that are WAY superior than this one. I could find a better 2600 game under a rock and enjoy it more than this one. Just as long as the one under the Rock wasn't named "Stronghold".

You think you may take a crack at possibly doing a 7800 version for us. You done such a fine, excellent, job with all the other ones. People on here truly appreciate what you did by giving us Pac-Man and the others. They are all truly amazing games. Even a hack of the 2600 version for the 7800 would be fine, if they would include the intermissions, and the ghosts would loose a little of the minor flickering. The 2600 one was a masterpiece and one of my favorites. I'd buy this one over as it is, just to have the intermissions and the same exact game.

I have a pic on the auction page of the toploader it's kind of like a slideshow but it has 2 controllers and it works great all the games are kind of heavy together that is why i put $20 Shipping these games were well taken care of i kept them in plastic containers so they would not get dusty or damaged if anyone else has any more questions about the games or toploader ask away. Top Loaders are so nice compared to the original. I love my top Loader. Hope this one finds a good home.
