Is this system a better one to buy than the regular 2600 system. Is the junior compatible with all the games, including the new homebrews out there along with the reproduction cartridges. I was thinking of maybe getting one of these and the 2600 Jr. caught my interest more because of the more compact design. I would appreciate any advice on the topic.

Just remembered mine was brand new in box for $35.00. Since yours is opened, I'm sure that makes a difference too. But find out for sure what it's worth on a fair asking price. the price I'm giving you I paid isn't current anymore.

I remember paying closer to the $35.00 range for mine, but that was over 2 years ago. Price may have fluctuated since then.

Thanks for posting that tip to warn others. I pay really close attention to that even before I place my first bid. What can seem like a good deal can turn out to be a nightmare if someone is charging outrageous shipping.

I haven't but i know someone has. Go to the high score club for checking out tips to beat games. I just found out about that section recently. hopefully the games i need some help with will be in there to help me.

Where are the best reviews online to look for ol' school games such as Atari. I know about videogamecritic. Are there any other ones out there that's good to look at and go by.

I have to admit when i got this game, the graphics literally blew me away. It was hard for me to believe that this was a 2600 game. I was really impressed and didn't know the 2600 could even pull something off that good. It's one of the best games I had seen for the system. Activision had done a really great job on the graphics. The problem is I find the game very difficult and have trouble on the second screen. My friend Chad gotten past that one. I think to the 3rd level. Any tips or suggestions to make it farther or beat the game.

With all the new Hombrews that have been coming out, are there any current plans on some 2600 light gun games coming out. Since there aren't many to choose from, it sure would be a nice change to see some. Are those games harder to make for the system?

Agreed but the 2600 version is a nice one. They managed to get all the screens included in that tiny cart.

Of course the 7800 versions of Commando and Ikari are better than the 2600 ones, but you have to admit the 2600 ones are pretty impressive. Wish someone would have thought about Frontline for the 7800.

On the 128 in one multicart, this game has a bug in it. If you happen to get eaten while the prize is destroying your power pellet, the screen can't be completed and the game is really over. The power pellet just flashes, but you can't eat it or anything. Does anyone know if there is a version of the game that has fixed this problem on the 5200?

The 128 in one multicart is great and has lots of prototype games on it including Super Pac-Man, Jr. Pac-Man and Millipede. There is even Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Junior on it. But now, since there have been so many new games that have been out since then for the 5200 such as the Haunted House one and several others, are there plans for a Multicart II to come along in the works soon?

I din't think that could be possible because the 7800 is a more powerful system. How will the 5200 be able to pull it off to be able to play 7800 games. Aren't the 7800 games much larger than the 5200 ones?

Just recently acquired this game and I must say it isn't even closely comparable with any other 2600 golf game. This game is very well done. The graphics are awesome on this one. It really makes the other golf games look truly sad. Atari should have done this one with their realsports series or for their Super sports games that were made in 1988. I wanted to recommend this game to the people on here that like golf games because you can't get no better than this one.

The cart is in mint condition and is just over 1 year old. The label looks exactly like the original one and is glossy with no abrasions or tears. Looks brand new. This cart is the exact full version game of the original. It does state on the cart that it is a reproduction cart. Would be willing to trade this one for Frogger II 2600 if it's in great condition also. Please let me know if you are interested. Jeff
