One of my favorite breakout clones is "Off the Wall" for the 2600. The graphics are great, and I love the powerups.
-
And at $8.99, that's a bargain.

I have never seen a gray box in the wild before. They may be more rare, but I'd definitely prefer my color box.
-
Kinda new on here too, but wanted to welcome you to the site also. I have learned so much from using this site for the last two and a half years. I had no idea I even had rare games till I used this site in late 2003.

As beautiful as it is.... I've only played it once as the Flashback 2 has taken my 2600's place and this is the only game I have for the 2600 anyways. It's been collecting dust for some time... figured someone may be interested in it. (What I paid for it plus shipping).PM me if interested....
Paypal accepted, U.S. Shipping.
Thanks,
Clint
I have never seen one of those before. It looks awesome. Good Luck on the sale.

Has anyone ever thought about doing the sequel to the Burgertime game for the 7800. It was only released for the intellevision system. The name of the game is "Diner". It looks like it really rocks too. I just thought that game would be great to have for the 7800 system. I hope someone agrees and tackles that one as a new homebrew.

I found a copy of Mr. Do's Castle in the mall in New Orleans where I live nearby. It was at a local game trading store that sells new and used games. Current and old school games too. I purchased the copy of Mr. Do's Castle for $29.95. The cart and label was in very good condition too. I'm thinking they may have mispriced the item.
Regardless, I was happy with my purchase.

Man is this game HARD! I really like this game and got it when it first came out. I have still not completed it till this day. The furthest I have gotten to is level 5. I know there are 8 levels in the game too. Anyone have any luck with this one? Does the game have an ending to it? For all that hard work to complete 8 levels there should be. This is one of my favorite games, but it really could use a pause feature too.

Get the 5200 (128 in one multicart) if you are looking to play these games without spending an arm and a leg. It has lots of prototypes as well including Jr. Pac-Man, Millipede, and Super Pac-Man.
-
I love my 5200 system with the redemption adapters and Wico Controllers as well. I also have the 128 in one multicart to go with my system. Very expensive to get all that stuff, but worth every penny.
-
I actually rather Pac-Man for the 5200 than Ms. Pac-man. I find Ms. Pac-Man to slow and sluggish. For Ms. Pac-man, play the 7800 or even 2600 version.

I am planning on purchasing this game. Thanks for the helpful info. about it.

I think Pitfall 3 would be an awesome idea for a new homebrew game. I do agree that it would have to be at least a 32k game. Having some of the same familiars would be great, along with new obstacles to encounter.

7800- Commando
2600- Sentinel
5200- 128 in one multicart

They both were great games in my opinion, but I preferred Phoenix. I liked the Mothership scene. I always would try and see how many times I could complete the levels. Phoenix was more fun for me.

I just traded for this game, but haven't had a chance to try it yet. Thanks for the tips.

Kinda embaressing, but anyone else ever Jam out to the Fatal Run Main Theme? Please don't let me be the only one.

I think the sound in Fatal Run is much better than some other games.

Midnight Magic is my personal favorite of the 2600 pinball games, 2nd is bumper bash and 3rd (though I would never play it much more than never) would be Video Pinbarf.I'm with you on that one. Midnight Magic is awesome, but Video Pinball truly sucks. I would have never played that game had it been around and popular in late 1988/early 1989. I only ended up with that game because I won some games in a lot. That game was the first to go too.lol

I've shopped with them many times. You may pay a little more, but I've always been satisfied. I had one game that was opened with the manual missing, but they immediately sent me a new manual.

2600 and 7800 Commando, along with Rampage as my favorite then, but now I'm really enjoying the new homebrews out there and still trying to beat 2600 Road Runner after all these years.lol

Picked up a light gun today at Value Village,it is a pistol,38 special kind of style I think, silver, has a black handle, and has an orange tip where the light, signal or whatever comes out.The connector has 9 pins, like the 2600,and plugs right in,question is,any 2600 games use this gadget?or any other Atari system?I bought it just in case I could use it now or in the future,it was only $3.00.Try ebay for the XE light gun also. The gun will work for 2600 Sentinel if you have just a 2600 system. If you have a 7800 system, 7800 Crossbow, and 7800 Alien Brigade are light gun games as well. 7800 also released a NTSC version of Sentinel too.

Great 2600 find in store
in Atari 2600

$40.00 is a great deal also. This game sells for some big $$$ on ebay. Don't really want to sell it though. I would rather trade for the last 4 games I want. You have any extra games for trade???
