Er, replace "Crash Dive" with "Mega Force". Damn missing edit button! !
-
Yep Crash Dive was released in PAL. Carts look the same. The instructions will be in multi-language. Some of the PAL Apollo games are available with both blue and green labels. Can anyone confirm PAL versions of Racquetball AP 2003 Lost Luggage AP 2004 Shark Attack AP 2005

Who wants to help build the elusive PAL rarity list then?
Jobf replied to Spirantho's topic in Rarity Guide
Yeah, Bumper Bash is pretty rare in Europe. It only made it into the UK as a trade/press review copy. You see quite a lot in Australia though. Mangia did make it out in the UK though, but on the world scheme-of-things, I would say that Mangia still harder to acquire than BB. -
Hey cool, thanks for the heads up Sandy! Roll on next time hey!

No I don't own it, I wish! The guy that sent the scans to Gamereset saw my post on Atariage, had it dumped and sent the roms to Atariage to host. Then there was the Homevision link discovered and the 'dots on the i's". etc... It is wierd though how only one has appeared, and it looks like a release copy.. It was/is a great new discovery "soap opera" thread.

Here is the original posting. Makes for great reading

Hey, Not long to go folks! My flight is booked and I thought it was about time I sorted accommodation! Does anybody want to share a twin room at the Ibis in Den Haag-Scheveningen? (The "official"Eurocon Hotel) Its 87euros a night. Sharing makes it a bit more affordable: 43.50e per person per night! Let me know and I'll make a reservation. (Jon Legg and Keith Ainsworth have also booked to stay there) Cheers Steve

Quite a few labelless Boings! turn up in the UK, so perhaps a labelless batch was produced late on. Anybody after some Boing! Instructions? I have a spare set. Steve

Hey Spirantho, Was your Red Label Kangaroo sourced in the UK? Or elsewhere? (Germany?) Cheers

A 2600 PAL forum!

Of released games probably something like General Retreat/Westward Ho or maybe those Bomb double packs. Unreleased, maybe PAL Star Wars Ewok Adventure (so far!)

Slashdot rocks. I visit several times a day. My kind of news We need to get that story on the front page to give ya servers a good thrash. I'd be interested to know how many referrals you get from it now though..

The list is as accurate as you'll ever get. Chris bought most of the games first hand in the 80's for full price. Frogger II is very hard to find in PAL in the UK because it was imported only by Silica from continental Europe after Parker pulled their videogame ops in the UK. Likewise SW:TAG and Gyruss. And yes, Apollo can be found in both green & blue variety.

Oh most definitely! The pricing anomolies are just people with a casual interest discovering Ebay and rediscovering Atari and wanting copies of the games they had when they were young. There's lots and lots of carts that would fetch more than those - boxed Tigervisions, Telesys, Boing, Carrere etc etc. You might find the UK PAL release list interesting (attached) . Some of these are impossible to find these days! ukpal.zip

Woooo! I'd agree with Osmeroid!

You won't find a native heavy sixer in the UK. The VCS wasn't released in the UK until 1978. The HS was only made in 1977 in Sunnyvale CA.

Any sellers ever have a package returned to you?
Jobf replied to holygrailvideogames.com's topic in Auction Central
I've had something returned to me recently, after the buyer had left positive feedback! The package required his signature, and was taken back to the post office for him to pick up and sign for within two weeks because he wasn't in when delivery was attempted. Well he never picked it up, so it was returned to me. I'm waiting for the guy to email me back. (He hasn't yet) I'll post it back if he pays the shipping again. -
One thing as well which isn't in the database is the Red Label Space Invaders with the blue box. Mmm PAL rocks!
-
DH pops up from time to time on Ebay UK. I would say between 10&20 GBP is a decent price. Boxed is far harder, more like 35-45GBP. Bear in mind that there's two versions - the black&white label and the colour label. Obviously, pay towards the higher end of those prices I indicated for a colour one as they are far cooler!
-
Yes, Red Label Ms Pacman isn't hard to find. I got mine originally back in the 80's from some discount superstore (kinda like Poundstretchers or WhatEveryOneWants. Still got it too
-
Yes, it will be PAL. The NTSC version is Chuck Norris Superkicks/Artillery Duel. BTW: The Artillery Duel / Super Kung-Fu in the AA database is mine. If you have one for trade with a better label, let me know
