A few weeks ago, I posted a link to my web page with about twenty 2600 games that can be played online.
Since then, I have been working on a site dedicated to that purpose. Now it is online.
The web site is www.2600Online.com.
Currently there are about 50 games.
Have fun!

I was quite satisfied with Moon Patrol, Ms. Pac-Man, and Space Invaders.
Not bad at all !
-
Would it be OK to add them to my website to allow others to play via Java?
-
Interesting selection. Why did you choose Tom Boy over Pitfall! ?BTW: Any homebrews planned?
Purely random

Very nice. Any plans for expansion?
I plan on putting about 25 additional games per week. Now I can play my Atari at work!

Hi All,
After being directed to JStella, I have placed twenty-five 2600 games on my website. The link directly to the games is
http://www.JimboGames.com/vcs.html
Please let me know if there is a particular game you would like to see on the site, and I will see what I can do.

One of my new favorites! The translation of the game play is nearly perfect!

Never played before! Pretty good game!

If we had an online emulator, would we be allowed to have any games that played on it besides those by any Homebrewers that would give permission?I would imagine the licensing would be the same as with any other emulator.

1. Jr. Pac Man
2. Pitfall II
3. Ice Hockey
4. Polaris
5. Moon Patrol

I have a heavy sixer, a Darth Vader, a Jr. and a 7800.
The sixer, the vader, and the Jr. are sealed. The 7800 is what I have connected, and I have another spare in storage.
Sometimes when you get bundles on ebay, you collect additional systems.

Hi,
Is anyone aware of a Java-based Atari 2600 emulator?
Any help would be great!
Thanks

In between Tampa and Orlando is a town called Lakeland (where I am from).
In the Lakeland Square Mall, there was a used game shop called Retro's. It closed in January of this year.
They had great stuff....used games from Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, Intellivision, ColecoVision; even a Vectrex!
Of course NES, SNES, Sega Master System, and other ubiquitous game console.
I really padded my retro collection from that shop. Unfortunately, the cell phone accessory/fake gold/bling-it-up crowd that frequents that mall did not appreciate retro gaming.
From what I understand, there is a great retroshop in South Florida (Miami - Ft. Lauderdale area) but I cannot confirm that.

Those videos were great! Keep up the good work. Could you do a video of Berserk? If not that, how about Phoenix? That would be awesome.
Steve
I'll do both!

I recorded a few videos to .AVI through PCAE and posted them on Youtube. How do you make your with sound?
I connect my console to my TV capture card, set it to channel 3, and use the ATI-All-in-Wonder software to dump it to a file.
If am doing it from an emulator, I use Camtasia Studio.

Hi everyone,
I am in the process of creating online videos for all of the Atari 2600 games I can get my hands on.
The first one I made was Activision's Ice Hockey. I did this for the this week's high score club.

The second is Superman.

As I get more practice, the quality of the videos will improve.
Until then, watch these videos, and get a good snicker at my lousy game play

Let me know if you would like a video created of a particular game. I will do my best to create one.

You can watch the video of my feeble attempt at http://www.jimbogames.com/atari_icehockey.htm

92,000
Could have done better, but it was fun anyway!
-
14700
Once you get the level 3, the game picks up, and gets pretty challenging!

A little more respectible.... (just a little)

2289 - Ho Hum, better next time.

I have a bare 7800 unit that I could sell.
$30 US
Send me an email if interested.
Thanks,
Jim
Can anyone PLEASE sell/trade a bare 7800 unit? I just received "Beefdrop" in the mail and, much to my horror, my 7800's bit the dust. I will buy the unit outright, but have the following to trade:
1) A boxed SC1224
2) 50 loose 2600 carts, all different commons;
3) A boxed "Ultima IV" for the A8;
4) Boxed copies of "Computer Baseball" and "Microleague" baseball for the A8
And, for the truly desperate, "Myst IV" (PC) and "The World of Harry Potter" (PC), both boxed.
