That version of Combat is one of the three games in the recent "Atari Revival" package, try expanding your search in that area.

I didnt know anything about Nintendo owning any rights to the Tetris name?? A few years ago there was the game "The Next Tetris" released for PC, various consoles and even the Nuon player with credits going to Atari.

Millipede gets my vote

I agree on how much better the 5200 version of Centipede is, no contest. During those years Atari considered the gaming business and the computers business as wholly separate entities. Another difference no yet mentioned.. *Space Invaders - 5200 version has bunkers, 800 version has a ship on the left border where the invaders appear to exit from (not a playable object) with no bunkers, all game variations are still the same though also, *A.E. - the screenshots shown for this are in low res, the disk version I have plays this game in full 320x192 resolution (gr. - using interlacing to give the red and green color appearance.

it is on ATR, I have it on my hard drive. in fact is is split into several ATRs for each disk/side that all need to be enabled to play this on win800. 5 files at 91K each

never mind Simon, I used to have one of those Atari "Touch-Me" games way back then (late 70s) which is based on the arcade game of the same name- that was designed a couple years before Simon. I remember they used to have a display center of the Atari 400 and 800 computers at Sears back then too.

mine has the same label. apparently they are well contructed as mine still works great as well

sorry for the delay... As mentioned I have finally added most of my remaining 'commercial brand' disks to the Yahoo Photos page.
-
Here's a scan from pages 1 & 2 of the 1994 JagWare catalog, which shows the same t-shirt.
-
my top 5, in no order... Starmaster, Phoenix, Atlantis, Demon Attack, and Yars Revenge
-
There are still a few more to add, expected by this weekend, including replacing those camera pics with clear scans. I agree that a couple of those 'no-name' games are indeed crap in comparison, but some may acually surprise you. I don't have a SIO2PC cable yet but I'll get to that soon.

Like my cart collection I posted in another thread, I am also in the process of putting disk scans on my Yahoo page, the site is public. http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/geosteve_...ve_99/my_photos I am showing these to ask which are the rarest and which you would rate as: fun...ok....skip-it...never heard of it.

That pic is exactly like the Jag t-shirt I got, front and back. I bought it directly out of the JagWire catalog way back in 94. Still have it but not fitting quite as good as it did back them size=large, wear xl now
-
In addition to the Jag images I posted above, I also wanted to share my NUON collection too... I have the Toshiba player with a logitech controller and these games Tempest 3000, Merlin Racing, Space Invaders XL, Freefall 3D, also traded the Tetris for a Ballistic and finally the awesome Iron Soldier 3 I got on ebay a while back
-
I'll list 5 in dated order of release, to correspond to passing years Tempest, Blasteroids, Stun Runner, Raiden 2, Star Wars Trilogy but there really is a lot others that I could think of too
-
Yeah, that's what I was thinking :D

Atari 8-Bit Montezuma's Revenge - The End???
geosteve replied to sonicr360's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
In you have seen the diskette image I was showing at the link above... Due to the blurry image from the camera, I have updated this picture with a nice clear scan instead. The text is now clear and readable, as you can see there is no mention of 'utopia' -
I havent seen thoem sold anywhere in years, of course there's always eBay

130XE stock 1050 with DOS III and DOS 2.5 --- I also have a version (somewhere) that I swear is called DOS 2.0T that supported enhanced density and has sectors tests, sector-by-sector copying, and a lot of other options that even 2.5 doesn't. XF551 with DOS XE OkiMate 10 (color thermal printer) with disk software Trak-Ball CX22 Koala Pad with cart SIO to parallel cable (X-Former for the ST, to upload programs) lots of disks including commercial games, PD, demos, free/shareware, magazine type-in programs and more
