  1. If this was in the 360 Live Arcade I'd pick it up in a heartbeat, especially if you could make/trade your own player rosters with people. I've got one of their Tecmo Bowl games for Genesis. so hopefully Tecmo hasn't signed an exclusive agreement with Nintendo this time around either.
  2. Have you ever ordered anything from 8bitdomain before? It can take ages to actually get what you ordered.
  3. Are you sure it wasn't you drooling over a new game?
  4. That cart price makes my CC2 look like a bargain since I can already play both games on real hardware.
  5. I won't get it. I already bought GTA III for PC several years ago and got my fill.
  6. I loved sports games back then and wanted an Intellivision. Atari always had crap sports games. It's not like I ever asked my parents for an Intellivision though. We were still perfectly happy with our 2600. It just became more of a treat when we went to my uncle's house and he had one.
  7. Just make sure the difficulty switches are to the left to be in the "easy" mode. Not that Sirius is easy that way but it is a bit easier.
  8. I'd like to see Descent 4 on the 360.
  9. They had you send in the hard drive? When I sent my in last July they didn't want anyone sending in the drives. I was just wondering if they'd changed that policy.
  10. The music for this game is absolutely obnoxious after about 30 seconds of play.
  11. I just downloaded the trailers for 1942: Joint Strike and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3. They're both 3D version of the 1942 and Commando respectively. I guess this means I didn't know there was a Commando 2. They look interesting. I'll have to checkout the demos when they come out. Apparently when you purchase Commando 3 you also get a free copy of the Streetfighter II beta.
  12. I played drums in school. It just takes lots and lots of practice. As for the drums in the game, they're not terribly realistic besides the fact that you're hitting more than one thing at at time.
  13. Put them on eBay. You'll find out the going rate. 99% chance they're worthless.
  14. I've tried the trial version. I like the enhanced version.
  15. The default is 5 so I used 5. The default on the 5200 one is also 5 lives. The 2600 version defaults to 3 lives.
  16. The sports games have started to annoy me. They seem to get more complex every time I play them. I have to switch them from the default to the classic modes so they only use 4 or 5 buttons.
  17. As I kid I never really cared that it wasn't very close to the arcade because it was the friggin 2600 not the arcade. I never knew it was loathed by so many until I came to this site. The same goes for E.T. Now I just don't care about it because I can play much better versions at home.
  18. I rented the game for the 360. It was fun...........as a rental. It might be worth $20 though.
  19. The Wii is a party game console so this game fits in perfectly without online support.
  20. Atari as a name for your company sure sounds a heck of a lot better than Infogrames.
  21. I played a baseball game that had a home run derby in it and the batting control was kind of like a joystick turned on it's side that had 360 degrees of movement and you had to try using it to hit the ball. Anyone know which game I might be talking about?
  22. Any time you buy a 5200 there's a 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% chance the controllers don't work.
