It sounds a lot like the AtariMax 128-1 flash cart for the 5200 then.......pretty easy to use.

Ahhh.... What I'm about to tell you is one of my favorite Atari stories to tell. Back when I was younger, maybe 8 or 9 years old, my father played this game religiously! He was layed off from work for about six months and every evening he would throw in Bowling into the 2600. One evening on a school night my brother and I went to bed arounf 9-9:30 and pops was shootin' his regular (he was a machine on this game). Anyways, my brother and were woken up near 1:00a.m. with my dad SCREAMING joyfully and dancing around the house yelling that he bowled a perfect game. He then woke up my mom and brought us all down to the living room to show us what he accomplished. So yes, it is possible to throw a perfect game "with the straight ball" but I've never done it.My Grandfather also played this game with my Grandmother and uncles. They played a couple times a week and were very competetive. My Grandfather actually had a trophy made for this game and who ever had it had bragging rights but if you lost you had to give up the trophy.
One of the best Atari stories I've heard in a long time. That's that the 2600 was all about... having FUN! Would they have taken the time to learn how to use bowling if it has a PS2/XBOX type of controller? I doubt it. Simplicity is the key to fun!
The Wii is doing the same thing.

If you already have Undertow call Microsoft and tell them you'd like to download Space Giraffe for free instead. Make sure they understand you'd only get the game if it was free.

Yep pretty much something like those.

I was wondering if a cartridge similar to a cuttle cart exists for the Genesis? I figured since I couldn't find one using google that I was out of luck but thought I'd try.

There are two on eBay right now but one of those ends 5 hours from the time of this post.I'm a big Jaguar enthusist
, and I owned a light sixer back in the early eighties. I decided that I would like to own an Atari 7800 and I won one of those two console onlys that were ending on ebay today. I was trying to save money.
Now I'm faced with the fact that I have no power supply, TV connector, no contollers, or any 2600, 5200 or 7800 items (including games) at all. I paid $10.50 for the 7800 console only + $9.20 s/h. I need all the stuff I just mentioned and I'm thinking about picking up another 7800 lot or ordering the stuff from Best. It would be cheaper if I picked up another 7800 lot on ebay, but if I buy from Best, I'll have new controllers, a new correct power supply and that Atari universal shielded RF adaptor. I'm looking forward to playing the 7800!If you don't have enough parts you could always bid on this auction.

I downloaded the demo and didn't like it but I can see why others would like it.

I certainly like my 5200 a lot better now that I have a redemption adapter. It works great with my modded Radica Space Invaders 7800 stick.

They quit including that stuff because of people like me who just thought it was a nuisance and threw it away.

You are correct. I guess I got to caught up in this subject thinking about "What's the big deal." Thinking about it now. I was pissed I didn't get my MINT CONDITION Miner 2049er II. Not trying to cause a stink. I have just been lucky getting what I have got. Otherwise, I see what you are saying. If the shipper really is screwwing you. He or she will through shipping. Henseforth comes the reputation of the seller. I only request Priority in a beautiful brown box.
THe problem iwith reputation is as someone said earlier the same sellers usually hold feedback hostage so if you neg em, you get a neg and then your feedback suffers.
Well I guess the moral is ask the seller everytime to ship it in a box and also to make sure he knows that videogames do not qualify as media mail. I have had 5 different sellers in the last 2 years send me stuff that got inspected and I had to pay the difference or not get my item thats another b*&^% of mine... Oh well life goes on

My post office thinks video games do qualify as media mail. When I sent games to atariage they asked me what was in the package and I told them video games. They let me ship it media mail. ???
Well sometimes the local branches will let them slip through jsut hope they don't get inspected at a hub. Otherwise the reciever will get a cod package and let me tell you how fun that is... Actually I fought with my local post office because of their definition of media mail as follows:
Media Mail® service is a cost efficient way to mail books, sound recordings, recorded video tapes, printed music, and recorded computer-readable media (such as CDs, DVDs, and diskettes). Media Mail can not contain advertising except for incidental announcements of books. The maximum weight for Media Mail is 70 lbs.
How it was explained to me is:
Did you record or produce it yourself? If no not media mail.
Does it have professional labeling of any sort on it, even if printed by you? if yes its not media mail.
Did you burn a it yourself? No then its not media mail.
I still sometimes argue with them over their definition. All computer or video game media was recorded at some time, so doesn't that make it elligible, NO...
I once ordered a GameCube at Amazon.com from one of the used and new sellers. The seller was a brick and mortar chain store so I didn't think much of it. I got it a month later............through media mail. I informed the post office what the seller had sent media mail and that I was refusing delivery.

Putting in a bid early is like showing every poker player at the table your cards before betting.
eBay loves the "win" mentality. That's why the call it winning. The highest bidder is really the loser.
That's why I only use BIN or a snipe service for eBay to make sure I don't get stupid and pay more for something than I really should have.

We never had River Raid. My grandparents had it so the 3 or 4 times a year we visited them we played it but we never owned it.

a boxed one was sold for 203 Euro. That's like $1,000,0000 US now.

Interesting editorial from Next Gen magazine on GameStop can be found HEREParasitic? Guess that's a pretty accurate description.
Mendon
About all I got from that article was:
WAH WAH WAH
Why doesn't he also attack Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, eBay.....etc. They're doing the same thing. New game prices would go up if there were no used games to buy because it would limit supply while demand would not drop off as much as the supply went down.

Should we tell him about the initiation to officially get into the club?

We'd have a thread asking us how cool games would be if they were actually 3d.

It's just like getting 1,000,000 points in Guitar Hero.

the 360 doesn't use an Intel chip like the original Xbox.

I liked E.T when I was 10 or 11 as well.

If I went back in time I wouldn't bother buying "rare" carts. I'd bet on sporting events.
