  1. I'm kinda surprised at the absence of Pac-Man CE and Puzzle Quest...those are probably my 2 favorite XBLA games.

I'm amazed that stinker minigolf game is a bestseller.

I'm not. It's great for kids.......although it's mainly a rehash of the PC minigolf game Sierra released in the 90s.

  2. The games depend on the person but I'd say the first one you should get is Adventure II. Another one I'd definitely get is Berzerk.

The other thing that was also a must have for me was getting a video mod kit so I didn't have to use the RF box.

  3. I would say Plaque Attack but I just played Oink! on my CC2. I stopped playing the game before it was over. It just seemed to never end. Plaque Attack is still second because of the lame theme.

  4. I think I'll go buy this and Frogger just to piss off Mr. Space Giraffe.

I've already got Tempest on an Atari Xbox game so I don't really need it. Spite would be the only reason to download this version.

I think I like Tempest on my PC the best. I got it along time ago with Microsoft Home Essentials. I think Albert sent me a copy too with a PC Atari Anthology disc when I bought Beef Drop for the 7800.

  5. Yes,exactly.People who trust what the FDA or Health Board says are foolish.Like when the Dental Association insists that amalgam, which contains Mercury aka Quicksilver, the most toxic, poisonous substance known to man,is safe.Yeah, safe when not touched, but in the human mouth?.My constant headaches and other numerous symptoms disappeared when i had my amalgam fillings replaced with enamel ones.Dont give a rats ass what the "authorities"say,i make the decisions for my health using my own common sense.

I wouldn't exactly trust the media to decide whether I'm going to intake aspartame either. Actually I don't artificial sweeteners because they taste horrible.

  6. I don't think Taito would have had a good claim if they'd sued for trademark or copyright infringement. It's probably hard to trademark a name like Water Ski anyway. it's like calling your game football or soccer.

I think I prefer the 7800 version since it's got the jumps.

  7. I assume you're referring to the Taito water ski game. In the arcade game you only control the skier. In the 7800 version you're controlling the boat so you have to account for both the boat and the skier. The first level isn't all that much like the 7800 version. The arcade version has different obstacles and you can't run into land on the side.

The boat goes faster as the level progresses.

There are no jumps for bonus points.

The clock counts down instead of up. In fact your game ends when you run out of time so you can crash lots more than the 3 or 4 times you can in 7800 water ski.

You start where you crashed not back at the start of the level.
