Batari has chosen not to do a waiting list. That's probably a good thing since the project originally started over 4 years ago.

Should work with any 3 button Genesis controller on the 7800. I don't have a Colecovision to test with.

So I'm sure someone discussed this already but I am too lazy to go back 37 pages.
I just got a PS4 and downloaded the demo for Pinball Arcade and there does not appear to be a cross-buy functionality, is that right? I bought a ton of tables on my PS3 and if I had a VITA those tables would be available to me, but if I want any of them on my PS4 I need to buy them again right? I'm not going to, I just wanted to confirm I wasn't going nuts with my theory.
If you purchased Season 1 on the PS3 you're suppose to get a 50% discount on Season 1 on the PS4. That's about it. People cry about Zen having cross buy and Farsight not having it but Zen actually uses fresh themes for their pinball tables that today's kids actually care about, not crap from 20 to 30 years ago. They're also based in Hungary so their labor expenses are a lot less than a company based in California.

Just as a reminder, what does this XM thing do exactly?
There's a stickied thread that explains it all in the first post.
I'm not sure why any of that would be ruimtemuis' fault unless he's really Underball or Bones Brigade....etc....etc...No one answer this.. We have explained this for 5 years now over and over the same question..
But if you must know.. The XM and what it does is pisses people off like 250 of them put 100.00 each in like 2010. All have nothing to show 4.. So its a big piss off..AND THATS ALL!!

I'm pretty sure it means Jar Jar Binks wouldn't have been technically possible unless they could have gotten someone to agree to walking around in a goofy suit.

Sounds like Bob could do this sort of thing in his sleep by looking at his list of patents.

CRTs are great until it's time to move.

I like review embargoes because they make it obvious I shouldn't buy the game.

You'll need the 2600-daptor II for both buttons to be recognized properly.
I've used the RSI sticks Jaybird3rd made for me with the Retronic adapter on my PC just fine. I had to update the firmware first but my PC sees it as a two button joystick.

Looks like Postal with updated graphics.

Looks like the Xbone version is out tomorrow (Friday). This means that theoretically the PS4 could see a patch with all of the season 2 and 3 tables right before Christmas. Of course that probably means February.

Edit: Apparently I posted too soon. A bug was found (I know, shocking) so it'll actually be posted sometime next week according to Farsight.

Would work great for female Kinect pr0n games.

My issues are particular to Trials Fusion and how the game was implemented. The game is basically a leaderboard game and they made it so you had to be online for it to save your best scores and ghost bikes. This might have been acceptable except when they released Watch Dogs the volume of players for that game managed to kill their whole network. Trials Fusion became unplayable for a week because I couldn't login all due to some other game I didn't even own or care to play. Well that and before Ubisoft bought Red Lynx the previous game allowed players to download user made tracks and play them offline. Now all of the user made tracks are hosted "in the cloud".

Technically, yes it's a console but it's not what most people think of when consoles are talked about. The only reason Farsight supports it is because it has phone parts in it and runs Android so getting their game to work on it wasn't a whole lot of extra work.
-
Steam stays caught up with the phone versions because Valve also lets developers update however much they want and for free. The console owners require certification and make the developers pay for it and it's not cheap.
Oh and it looks like the Mac version is the same way. Basically only console owners get screwed.
-
I didn't know what Uplay was until I bought Trials Fusion through Steam. I won't buy any more Ubisoft games.

The Xbox One version has finally cleared certification! We are on to the retail testing phase which should be done by next week.
This long awaited release is finally coming and we are very excited that Pinball Arcade will finally be available before Christmas with Season One, Two AND Three!!!They're saying the Xbone version should be available in about a week. Hopefully it's a week in real time and not a week in Farsight time. That would also mean they can move on down the line between the 360, Steam Direct X 11 patch and maybe someday they'll get out a Wii-U version.

I had no idea this was coming out -- was it Kickstarted?
Yes and No. It was part of a Jane Jensen Kickstarter campaign in May of 2012 but it was only called "Mystery Game X" at the time. They finally announced Mystery Game X was going to be Gabriel Knight 1 about a year ago. If you weren't a backer it was probably easy to miss.

Maybe if it had HDMI and all I really had to do was pull out the old board and put in the new one.

Xevious will work as a single button game. Just change the difficulty switch to the A position and it'll drop bombs every time you shoot.
-
That's about as dumb as T2 without Arnold.
Well, looks like it will officially be the last kickstarter table I back. They got their money, didn't fulfill their promises.
What promises? They were upfront in their Kickstarter video that Christopher Lloyd wasn't going to be part of the game. They never claimed they got an agreement with any stretch goals either. At least you'll be able to play it on your Ouya while other people are waiting for it on their 360s , PS3s, PS4s and Xbones.

The cool thing about getting older is things become brand new again in a much shorter amount of time.

The other problem is more realistic graphics means your art budget increases exponentially.

Homebrew Marketplace for Harmony Cart?
in Homebrew Discussion

I'd consider giving money for 7800 downloads. I typically don't buy carts because I want to make sure other people can get them who don't own a CC2.
