  1. So I'm sure someone discussed this already but I am too lazy to go back 37 pages.

I just got a PS4 and downloaded the demo for Pinball Arcade and there does not appear to be a cross-buy functionality, is that right? I bought a ton of tables on my PS3 and if I had a VITA those tables would be available to me, but if I want any of them on my PS4 I need to buy them again right? I'm not going to, I just wanted to confirm I wasn't going nuts with my theory.

If you purchased Season 1 on the PS3 you're suppose to get a 50% discount on Season 1 on the PS4. That's about it. People cry about Zen having cross buy and Farsight not having it but Zen actually uses fresh themes for their pinball tables that today's kids actually care about, not crap from 20 to 30 years ago. They're also based in Hungary so their labor expenses are a lot less than a company based in California.

  2. Just as a reminder, what does this XM thing do exactly?

There's a stickied thread that explains it all in the first post.

No one answer this.. We have explained this for 5 years now over and over the same question..

But if you must know.. The XM and what it does is pisses people off like 250 of them put 100.00 each in like 2010. All have nothing to show 4.. So its a big piss off..AND THATS ALL!!

I'm not sure why any of that would be ruimtemuis' fault unless he's really Underball or Bones Brigade....etc....etc...

  3. Looks like the Xbone version is out tomorrow (Friday). This means that theoretically the PS4 could see a patch with all of the season 2 and 3 tables right before Christmas. Of course that probably means February.

Edit: Apparently I posted too soon. A bug was found (I know, shocking) so it'll actually be posted sometime next week according to Farsight.

  4. My issues are particular to Trials Fusion and how the game was implemented. The game is basically a leaderboard game and they made it so you had to be online for it to save your best scores and ghost bikes. This might have been acceptable except when they released Watch Dogs the volume of players for that game managed to kill their whole network. Trials Fusion became unplayable for a week because I couldn't login all due to some other game I didn't even own or care to play. Well that and before Ubisoft bought Red Lynx the previous game allowed players to download user made tracks and play them offline. Now all of the user made tracks are hosted "in the cloud".

  5.

The Xbox One version has finally cleared certification! We are on to the retail testing phase which should be done by next week.

This long awaited release is finally coming and we are very excited that Pinball Arcade will finally be available before Christmas with Season One, Two AND Three!!!

They're saying the Xbone version should be available in about a week. Hopefully it's a week in real time and not a week in Farsight time. That would also mean they can move on down the line between the 360, Steam Direct X 11 patch and maybe someday they'll get out a Wii-U version.

  6. That's about as dumb as T2 without Arnold.

Well, looks like it will officially be the last kickstarter table I back. They got their money, didn't fulfill their promises.

What promises? They were upfront in their Kickstarter video that Christopher Lloyd wasn't going to be part of the game. They never claimed they got an agreement with any stretch goals either. At least you'll be able to play it on your Ouya while other people are waiting for it on their 360s , PS3s, PS4s and Xbones.
